Chapter 4 Old Friends and Memories

I handed the kids Alidora and ran over to the area. I never expected it to change but I always hated that once you were down there for a while, you could feel the heat from the ground through your shoes.

I saw my dad, Uncle Leo, and Raph ready to compete along with Martin. I stood next to Riley and Tyler. I saw Martin talking to Nicole and Usagi.

I ran over and talked to them and I hugged Nicole while Usagi was speaking with Master Leonardo and my dad.

She looked older than the last time I saw her which was understandable since the last time I saw her I was 13. She was 16 now, the same age as Martin.

She spotted Tyler and decided to go and annoy him as much as she could before everything started.

I realized my dad was competing this year and so was I. I walked up to my Uncle Raph and asked,

"Do I just try my best if I get set up against you two or my dad?" I could tell he hadn't thought of that but he shrugged and said "If you got up against me or your dad, fight as hard as you can because I don't know about him but I'm gonna take you down" he laughed.

The Daimyo walked up and announced that faith would decide who we were put against. We teleported in front of our opponents.

I teleported in front of a warrior that I honestly hadn't met before, which meant there was a possibility that one of my brothers got my uncles or my dad. I was just happy it wasn't me.

I ended up beating the warrior without too much trouble. I got her in a chokehold and we struggled for a bit before she teleported out.

I kind of just stood there and waited for the others to finish. I saw my mom waving to me and in other directions so I guessed she could see my dad and brother.

The walls moved down and I saw Tyler was missing. From the group, a few other warriors were gone as well.

We were sorted again and I was teleported in front of Master Leonardo.

I had jinxed myself.

We kind of just looked at each other for a minute, I put my hand over my mouth to cover a smile. I don't know what embarrassment or knowing I would lose this one.

"Well fate has an odd sense of humor" I laughed holding my bow. Uncle Leo just got down on his knees and sat down.

"Sensi? What are you doing?"

"Something that your grandfather did for Michelangelo once."

"I don't want to hit you, Uncle Leo"

"I've already won the competition before when you were little. I don't want to get in you or your brother's way." I stayed quiet and walked towards him with a spinning bow.

"Keep your eyes out. Someone is planning against us, Only me and Riley suspect this. It was confirmed earlier today. Someone is watching us, Uncle. Believe me." I whispered and tapped him on the shoulder with my bow and he teleported out of the arena.

These were only exhibition matches so we were done until tomorrow that's when Martin is going to go up against Kane.

I looked around for my brothers and Nicole, Raph and My Dad were out. My parents were sitting next to the Daimyo and so was Raph.

I grabbed Riley and Martin to go and get some food and try to have some fun before we went back to sleep.

We got everyone rounded up and Nicole decided to join us. We got some food and I bought a few blankets from one of the merchants since me and some of the other warriors would be sleeping inside of the arena.

We had fun. I talked to Master Leonardo and my Dad. They said they'll keep a look out and get some rest.
