Saiki turned around to see nobody behind him before turning his attention back to the young boy thanking him, as Y/N made a run for it, not knowing what to think about what he just saw.
His mind raced as he raced to get out of their, wondering what he just saw. By pure luck, he managed to find his way back to the main road. Saiki made that balloon come back to the kid. From mid-air? He got the balloon back... Without catching it.
That's not possible. I'm just tired. It's been a long day, right?
Obviously. I'm hallucinating, I didn't think I was THAT tired...
But... was he hallucinating? He didn't know. All he could do was turn around with his mind racing, wondering what he had just witnessed. Falling into the trap of starting to think he was going a tad insane.
Eventually, after noticing familiar posters and lamps, he made it back to the road. Which may have been short of a miracle considering how deep in his mind he had gotten in his freak out.
What would he even do with this information in the event that he was right in what he saw? Go to the police? Saikis parents? A school administrator? There was absolutely nothing he could do with this newfound curse of information that wouldn't get him thrown in a mental facility.
It was all he could do to walk back to his house, slowly and in thought. The more he thought about it, the more his world began breaking down and shattering-making him fall deeper and deeper into his mind.
His beliefs have always been average, and magic or psychics had never made it onto the list of realities. It was fiction. Fantasy. But that's the thing, it WAS.
Should I be this freaked out? What am I saying. I just watched my classmate, my friend, oerform something in secret that nobody else would ever be able to.
He finally arrives home and collapses into his house, skipping his shower and going straight to bed-not that he could sleep. He just sat there replaying the moment he saw saiki controlling that balloon.
Over... and over... and over... and over...Beep beep beep
"Shi-"
As Y/N strolled into the schoolyard, he looked around, paranoid. He had spent the entire night questioning, wondering what other things Saiki would be able to do if he was able to essentially use telekinesis.
I... haven't seen Ikowa in a while. I should hang out with him instead today. I mean, I mean-I don't have to hang out either of my new friends EVERY DAY.
Right? RIGHT?
This has nothing to do with me seeing anyone use telekinesis. Nope. I didn't see anyone mind control a balloon or some crap.
Saikis head basically snaps in Y/N's direction, which would have freaked Y/N out if he was paying enough attention to his surroundings. He looked around for 10 seconds, didn't see saiki, and went back to his panicking.
Right before he looked up again, to do a general check of his surroundings, and made eye contact with Saiki. Both looked away immediately, but for completely different reasonsShi-

Lunch. Just... Normal lunch. Where I eat lunch. With my friends. At lunch. Except Ikowa chose to eat lunch with his girlfriend. Which is great for him, I'm so happy for him. I already congratulated them. But the one day I want to hang out-he's with his girlfriend? Today is just going horribly.
And then it got worse as Nendou, Kaidou, and Saiki turn the corner and almost run directly into him.
Oh shi-
