Also quick Character info: Elaine is my girlfriend and Koi is me. Also might include some random peoples name which you can assume to be Elaines or my friends/siblings. I will just use a code name for privacy :3)

Koi Pov:

The first thing I was greeted with when I woke up was my stupid alarm sound. Its the school holdidays so I could always just sleep in...But if i want to spend time with my girlfriend thats unfortunetly in the opposite side of the world, I need to wake up now. I groaned as I rubbed my eyes and opend up discord to check if she had sent anymore messages. 

Theres nothing...Thats odd? I clicked on the keyboard of my phone and typed "Hi". Typically she'll see it fast and her status would change to "do not disturb" but this time, it remained to offline. I shrugged it off as I also knew that it was her school holidays and yawned as I went to scroll on Tik Tok for a bit. 

At around 7am, the rest of my family started to wake up and had breakfast. Ofcourse, my brother just had to barge into my room and loudly play his stupid guitar which obviously pissed my mum off and started off a screaming match. But this was the norm in my household, some might call it chaotic but to me this is just another peacefull morning. Whilst we were eating our breakfast that included of rice, kimchi, meat and other vegitables that I dont even know the name off, my dad suggested that we go to the skating rink. Obviously as a girl that is obsessed with skating I immediatly agreed. I was a bit worried that my mum and brother would disagree since they arent a fan of going out but suprisingly they agreed. 

"We havent been out in a while since your dad was busy, I think it would be fun!" My mum replied as she smiled and took a sip out of her cup. We all glanced at my brother to see what his opinion was...And to my big suprise he just shrugged and said that if we went that he wants to buy a small gift. My father laughed and agreed, I happily ran to my room after breakfast and texted my dear girlfriend that hadn't been online the whole day. "I'm going to the skating rink today!" I sent a voice mail, excitment filling up my head as i didn't wait for her reply and threw my phone onto the bed and happily got dressed.

I wore my simple favourite pastel purple, alice in the wonderland shirt along with a short black pants which was my go-to skating outfit. I grabbed the bag that held my inline skates and the safety equipment, not that I needed them anymore but its always good to be prepared. I hurridly went ran to the hallway and rushed my family so that we could go faster.  My mum groaned but reluctantly got dressed as my dad stepped out into the balcony to do one last ciggarette before we headed out. I barged into my brothers room and yelled at him to get ready. He made the typical excuse of  not knowing what to wear. I know, hes way older then me yet he still needs someone to pick out an outfit. I scoffed as i opened his closet to look at his colorless clothes. I grabbed a black shorts and a grey top and once again he shrugged and pushed me out of the room so that he could get changed. I couldn't calm myself down as I hurridly ran to the shoe rack and pulled out my converse. My family joined me one by one, my dad first, then mum and then my brother. We ran to the car as I yanked open the door and got in, by we I mean myself. The rest of my family just walked behind me. I tried to fasten my seat belt but kept missing the hole since I was trying to do it so fast. 

Suprisingly, the car ride was only a 30 minute drive and I happily kicked my feet, causing my mum to yell at me again. I chuckled in reply and just kept lightly kicking my feet so that i wont get itrouble. Maybe today was just my day because the car park of the skating rink was  full but we easily found one empty slot to park. I ran out of the car and opened the car trunk and pulled out my skating bag as my mum grabbed the bag of fruits that she had cut up for us and then we all walked inside. My father talked to the receptionist and rented 3 more skated for each member of my family but I didn't wait for them as I sat at a nearby free bench and sat down to put on my inline skate on and took of the protection layer off of my wheels. I walked up to the rink carefully and got inside while holding the wall just incase I was about to fall. As soon as i stepped inside my eyes shined as i felt like I was on cloud nine. I hurridly grabbed my phone as I plugged the earphone into it and into my ears as I played my normal playlist on spotify. I whistled as I took a fast lap around the large rink and on my 2nd lap I met my family which was just taking slow laps while talking. My brother for once seemed like he was enjoying something outside for once. Maybe we could do this again next time?

As I slowed down and stared at my family while thinking about somethings I suddenly felt something fall ontop of me as the hit the ground. Thanksfully I reacted in time so I didn't fall straight onto my face. I groaned, annoyed as my family rushed to me to check if I was ok. I waited until the person got off of me but just like mine, their family also came to check on them. Judging by their long hair, I assumed she was also a female. Atlast when she got up someone from the background yelled "lol she oddly looks like Koi". I froze as I heard that name. Koi wasn't my legal name and only a group of people knew to call me Koi. I hurridly turned around to see who it was but then I saw it. Bunch of familiar faces and then I suddenly hit me. "She kinda does" A voice that was a little to familiar said as she stood up and looked down at me. I also stood up with the help of her hand as I stared at her face with a wide eye. "Elaine?" I asked as I raised my eyebrows, a little confused. Then it hit her as well, a "stranger: that looked like her girlfriend and knew her name...It was obviously had to be her girlfriend. "KOI?" She yelled as her eyes also widdened. My parents looked confused as they asked me if I knew her. I just made up a lie and said that she was a friend of mine from school that moved. I shrugged it off as I grabbed her wrist and started to skate off, her following behind me. 

"why are you here?" I asked as I didnt look back and continued to skate. She revealed that she was here at Australia for school holidays. I began to question her like crazy as she chuckled. She kindly explained it all to me and I think she saw my eyes lit up because she hugged me tightly. My cheeks were tinted light pink and hugged her back, I never knew this was possible but I felt like those school girls from those cheesy romance movies. This was our first time meeting in real life but for fucks sake it felt amazing. I placed my chin ontop of her head as I saw my brother staring at me from the corner of the eye with the "your gay?" expression. I flicked him the middle finger as I went back to have my 2016 wattpad moment with my cutie patootie.

After what felt like hours, I let go and looked into her eyes. Damn she was cuter then on call but I obviously wasn't gonna tell her that... Im to awkward right now. I stiffly grabbed her wrist, a habit that I did whenever I had to hold someones hand but after a while she slided her hand down and intertwined our hands together. My whole face was a bright shade of red so i just continued to drag her along the rink. I had a neuteral face displayed on myself but inside i was dieing. Is this what the hell love felt like bc I was enjoying it too much.

After 2 hours, my mothe called me to have some fruits, I was sad to leave Elaine behind but thanksfully my mother also invited her to eat with me. I slided out of the rink and she followed behind me. I sat down next to my mum and grabbed the container of fruits and placed it on my lap before helping my cutie pie sit down next to me. My mother for some reason packed 5 forks on accident so I grabbed a fork and pinned it into the slice of mango and brang it up to elaines mouth. She blushed a little before opening her mouth and ate the mango. I myself took a slice of the peach and ate it. I fucking love the 22nd of October because I get to spoonfeed my long distance Girlfriend. Its not a opportunity you get to have everyday if you know what I mean. I had the time of my day as I happily enjoyed this unplanned date. Her sisters made few jokes now and then but I laughed it off as me and Elaine had the amazing first date. We even did a few races and ofcourse I won, but I let her win every now and then since im such a good girlfriend. 

As we were skating with our fingers tangled with each others, I got an idea. I challenged her to another race to see who can go all around the rink the fastest but I let her win. She looked so cute as a huge smile made it to her way as she "won" just by an inch. I clapped as I skated closer an intertwined our fingers again and brang it up to my lips, kissing the back of her hands softly as I chuckled. Her eyes widdened slowly as she processed what just happened. Her cheeks flared up as I smiled warmly in responce. 

Of course Happy things must come to an end since she had to go now. She seemed sad as she said goodbye but I pulled her closer with a smile and wrapped my ams around her. I kissed her forehead before I muttered "goodbye princess, see you around" And opened the gate of the skating rink for her, like the gentle women that  I am.

She chuckled as she waved me goodbye with a visible blush and I waved back. I was sad to see her go but I would probably see her again in her long holiday so i didnt really mind it.
