Main character :

Hotaru (in English her name is Lumine) as a traveler from another world, came to Teyvat to explore more of the world and find her brother. Her background is unknown but when Yuna sees Hotaru, old memories come flooding back to her mind.

Hotaru remembers everything and she knows herself as an influential simulacrum, elder and ascendant and is the first to be successfully created by his creator, making Hotaru feel that Yuna is his creator and does whatever it takes to achieve her goal: wanting Yuna to be one with her and live with herself. forever as one unit. (recalling the fact that Yuna, made Hotaru and Sora... her brothers, for the first time before they separated during teyvat)

Hotaru's character used to be kind, calm and humble, but when she met Yuna, she changed to really love Yuna and tried to do anything to be with Yuna, forever. (like yandere too, she'll be do anything for Yuna)

Prompt for Yuna: if Hotaru has self awareness

It would depend on whether or not yuna selected her as your character since it would limit the amount of time she was with yuna.

If yuna chose her over Aether she’d be pleased since it means that you can travel through Teyvat together and learn its secrets. Which would allow her to learn more about yuna and for the two of them to grow closer.

Once she gets her powers back she would definitely look for a way to travel to yuna world so that yuna can be together forever with her. Of course, she’d have to be careful not to allow the others to catch onto her plans in case they interfere.

She wouldn’t join any team particularly since she’s distrustful of everyone around her since they could be planning to take you away from her. She won’t let that happen, she can’t lose yuna too!

Unlike Aether, she’d be anxious whenever yuna used the wish system since it meant that she’d have to share you with other characters who may be planning to steal yuna away from her.

If yuna switched out your team and took her off of it she’d be livid since she’s the one that’s meant to be the closest to yuna. Once yuna log off Lumine will have a word with the other characters and may ‘persuade’ them to leave the team.

Although Lumine is lacking some of her original powers she’s by no means weak and will be happy to show you her full strength as you watch her wield multiple elements as she fights with power and grace. Lumine will eliminate all those who stand between yuna without mercy.

Lumine will still want to look for her brother but if she finds out that he’s self-aware she may start to reconsider this especially if it means that she’ll have to share yuna with him. Unlike Aether, Lumine doesn’t want to share yuna with anyone and won’t hesitate to eliminate those who stand in her way.

Lumine won’t let on that she’s self-aware for the most part to other characters but if they find out she doesn’t really care since she can always dispose of them if needed.
