The sun was shining through my closed eyes.I opened them to find him looking at me, grinning.He leaned down to put a poppy behind my ear, than kissed my brow.
"It's beautiful out here, how did you find it?"The meadow was full of flowers and the scent of late summer was in the air.Above us there wasn't a cloud in the sky.
"I went on a hike last week and it reminded me of you.I wanted to show it to you, sunshine."
