WHEN YOU'RE MINE

It was a very cold afternoon, when my mother came into my room to share an information concerning my would be husband, he requested getting married to me in order to link both our companies together.
When I heard about this the first time, I was mad because at that time I was in a serious relationship with another and I wanted marrying him or so I thought because that wasn't what he wanted.
Few weeks ago I had caught my ex boyfriend on bed with another lady when I went to give him a surprise visit but in the end I was surprised by what I saw that evening.
Fast forward to now when my mum (Bella) got into my room she told me that my would be husband was coming over for dinner and I should look my best to give an impression to the gentleman.
Later that evening, the maid in the house had prepared everything on the dining table while my parents and I were graciously seated at the living room waiting patiently for our guest of the evening to arrive. Few minutes later there was a light knock on the door which I quickly responded to as not to keep the guest waiting for long.
In front of me stood a very handsome man with a beautiful smile on his face that he blew my mind away for a second but I regained myself that was when I was able to get a name to his face Jesse. He had this great smile that can make one happy for no reason. The way he smiled at me like he's just seen the most beautiful damsel in the world.
After the introduction was done, my parents led us all to the dining table were dinner was waiting for us all. During the dinner, we had our engagement party discussed and finalised then when we were done eating, Jesse excused himself saying he wanted talking to me in private, my parents been happy about everything decided to let us be and move to their bedroom to give us our privacy.
When we were alone, he cleared his throat and then I was brought back to reality. He started by appreciating me for accepting his marriage proposal at a short notice, after which we talked on the preparations of the engagement party followed by the wedding preparations that will take place in few months time but he pleaded we move the wedding forward and when I asked why, he said "I don't want you to have a change of mind about marrying me again'', I didn't really understand why he said that so he went further to explain that for a long time he had feelings for me but just didn't know how to express himself to me cos at that time I was in a relationship but when he heard I wasn't in any relationship anymore he decided to act fast before I was taken the second time so he went to get my parents permission and blessings before telling me which I'm so glad he did because I do have feelings for him as well.
