I need you more (luffy x nami)

~Jealousy of mine~

We finally left wano, the crew bid everybody a heart-breaking goodbye as we promise to come back and visit once again, as the ship sails and everyone standing on the edge of the island calling for our names and cheering for us , " the heroes of wano" or "our land's saviors" . 

We didn't really see ourselves as heroes or anybody special, Luffy especially didn't like being called a hero, He was a pirate and being a hero doesn't suit a pirate, even though his noble acts are not pirate-like but just heroic. As Luffy waves everybody goodbye whilst sitting on the figurehead and as the crew looks back at the dashing Land of wano. We knew that our journey would be different, we now are actually considered a yonko crew who are feared across the world and heavily-targeted by the world government.

Well the farewell was 2 weeks ago, now everybody is doing their own thing, we are patiently waiting for the next island to be in sight as we are running out of food and supplies. As I was in my office drawing and defining the place of the land of wano on my map, I hear an all-too familiar voice.

It was Luffy. "AN ISLAND! I SEE AN ISLAND!!" he shouted, everyone including me leapt from their places to look at the island Luffy has found,  " everybody change the ship's direction and go towards that island" I ordered. As Usopp heads to stirring wheel and moves the ship, as it heads closer to the island, Luffy jumps in excitement, he is always so active and energetic, but after getting closer to the island, I came to realization that I have seen this island somewhere before, I try to remember where I saw it before, as awareness hit me, I realized that I saw this island on the newspaper before.

This island was the land of Harmony ,  An unlawful island filled with dangerous thirsty pirates that constantly torment the people living there, but it was also known for its beautiful environment, its divine-looking waterfalls, and its magnificent nature, I also heard that citizens of the island have followed their passed-down traditions as they do not like the new modernized world and prefer to stay the old-fashioned way, even though its full of threatening people, it is still a beautiful place and one of the wonders of the world due to how old and marvelous it is.

It doesn't seem that I am the only person who knows about this place but robin too seems to know about it. I wouldn't mind having to fight some pirates, we are strong now, everybody here can take care of themselves. As we arrive at the island, we lower the anchors and step on the island. It truly looks breath-taking like the newspapers said.

Sanji went to buy some food to restock the fridge and some important supplies while robin and chopper wanted to buy some books from the library, jinbei and brook stayed at the ship to watch over it, while franky went out to buy cola in which usopp accompanied him, Only Luffy, zoro and I are left. We didn't have anything important to do so we just explored the island together, Normally there had be a group of people strolling around the place but no, it was crammed with bad people as all the citizens watch them rooming around whilst being in their homes or shops. It truly was depressing seeing how the people of the land were in constant state of fear, As we check out the place, Luffy catches sight of a barbeque place, he then pulls me and zoro there completely ignoring the fact that we might not want to go there.

I mean it's Luffy after all, that is how he always been. We walk inside to see a few pirates tormenting the waitress of the restaurant and making the customers scared and uncomfortable . The 3 of us sit on a table, and we signal for the waitress to come. A pirate who seemed like the captain among them then says "Don't you see that we are busy kid?" . "The waitress is here to serve customers not to play with you weaklings" Luffy replies, he looked mad. It seems Luffy didn't interfere immediately once he saw the pirates basically bullying the waitress because he wanted to annoy them first. "Say that one more time you brat" One of the pirate underlings said, "He clearly said to piss off, can't you hear?" Zoro replied instead of Luffy, The captain then put his legs on the ground which were placed on top of a table and he and his underlings went up to Luffy and zoro. The captain grabbed Luffy by his red cardigan and said "you don't want to mess with us kid" Luffy looks back at him cockily ,as zoro is about to take his katana out, one of the pirate underlings grabs me by the wrist , " captain we found another bitch to toy with" I was about to pull out clima tact, but Another one of the pirates pins me down startling me as he plays with my hair.

"Don't touch her" he whispered, "Huh?"  " I said Don't touch her" , A sudden change of air fills the place as Luffy activates his haki. He knocks out the pirates in a matter of seconds. "Luffy--" I say, I then proceed to get up and adjust myself. "Nami, are you okay?" He said, "yes Luffy but I could have handled it myself" I reassured him. His expression-- it wasn't visible but he was mad, he grabs my wrist, I could only see his eyes, he then whispered something.

"But he was touching you, I didn't like that"

What? Luffy looked completely serious, I can't believe him.

Zoro then burst out laughing, Luffy still had serious mode on. He didn't see what was funny about this, The moment was interrupted by the cheers of everybody in the restaurant.  The waitress also rushed to thank us, "Arigato, I can't express how grateful I am to you guys" , as Luffy lets go of my wrist and faces the waitress. He smiles " shishishi no problem". He really managed to change his mood that fast. 

As we settle ourselves down on the table again and the cheers lower down. "How can I help you guys? everything is on the house!" The waitress offered. "Oh well if that's the case then bring us everyth-" I elbowed Luffy the fastest I ever did, " Luffy!" I muttered. "We would like just 4 of this" as I pointed to something on the menu that was placed on our table like every other table. "Coming right up!" .

'Namiiiii" Luffy pouted, I just laughed Luffy off, we ate the food and found our way out of this troublesome restaurant as the smiling waitress waves us goodbye " Come by again!" , I smiled back. "Ahhh The food was delicious" Luffy said while stretching his arms out, "we should head back to the ship" I requested. "Buttt I want to explore the island more" Luffy bawled. "We can do that tomorrow" I suggested, "finee" Luffy grunted.

We are back on the ship, everybody is in their rooms and so is me. Robin comes out from the shower fully dressed in her PJ's , drying her hair with a towel, " so did anything happen with Luffy and zoro?" . "..Nothing in particular.." I hesitated. "The things that happened in the restaurant aren't just anything in particular" she grinned. She then winks at me before she closes the lamp and heads to sleep.

I swear robin might just be a witch, how does she know everything? I sigh. I as well head to sleep but before dozing off I whispered to myself ..

"It was a nice day."
