Chapter 22-She Said Yes

Georgie was flustered from the events as she stood watching and hearing the question she had hoped for. "Yes yes I will marry you" Georgie said as Dominic placed the ring onto her finger. The two embraced and shared a kiss. "She said yes" Dominic shouted at the top of his lungs. everyone started clapping and cheering at the newly engaged couple. "oh my god this is just wow you all played a part in this " Georgie questioned with a smile. "We did" Jack said as he gave her a hug. Meanwhile Dominic was talking to peter on the sideline as Georgie came over to drag him away. "How long were you planning this" She questioned once again. "A long time it took Katie and Amy's help to pull this off are you happy with it." Dominic asked with a smile. Georgie replied with a kiss. "Okay everyone tonight we are going to have a celebration at heartland for the entire town to express our happiness for these two" Mills shouted as he pointed at Georgie and Dominic. "Okay so everyone let's go spread the word" Peter shouted. 

(2 hours later)

In the town of hudson Dominic is inviting the fine people of maggies to the party along with Georgie however they couldn't help keep locking eyes with one another more and more unknown to them adam was watching this and he could tell along with most other people that it was love. Walking in he went straight up to the engaged couple, "Hey I know we have had our disagreements but could I come to this party" Adam asked. "Well I..." Georgie said. "Of course you can and hey were good" Dominic said holding out his hand for adam to shake. shaking his hand out of respect adam smiled. "Cool I'll see you there" Adam said and then left the diner "Babe that was really amazing and nice of you to invite him." Georgie said. "Well what's the point of holding grudges. After all today is a happy day" Dominic said leaning and kissing her. "Oh I got to go need to talk with mills see you later babe" Dominic stated kissing her one last time and leaving the diner heading towards Mills who was at the restaurant a little down the way.

Walking into the restaurant he made eye contact with his friend and pulled him aside. "So for tonight i'm thinking we have our first performance, what do you think" Dominic asked. "You think were ready we haven't practiced or written any party songs at all" Mills responded. "Yeah we don't need them all we need is feel good country songs that will send good vibes all around" Dominic replied with a smile and a look of determination in his eyes. "Okay i'm in let's do it should we get some practice done" Mill stated. "Nope we are better when we are loose and it will make it better if we just show up and let our hearts sing the words don't worry we got this." Dominic said as he walked towards the exit and back towards Maggies. 

Georgie hadn't left instead she was just laughing and smiling showing the girls behind the counter her ring. Smiling he walked in and up behind her wrapping his arms around her waist,  "You love the ring then huh" Dominic said kissing her cheek. She smiled sinking into the kiss like it was the first time. "You ready to go we have two other places to go and spread the word" Georgie said. 

On the other hand at Heartland Lou was sitting at the kitchen table sitting on her blog page with a empty text box haunting her. "You seemed stressed honey what's up" Peter asked kissing the top of her head. "I can't think of what to post about the engagement party" Lou said. "Have you tried something simple like come to heartland to celebrate my daughters engagement" Peter said. "No thats just to long and too complicated" Lou said. "I know it's not really my area but I have two ideas and either one could work" Hayley Heart said entering the kitchen from the living room. "What are your ideas" Lou asked with a single hint of hope. "You could do Heart engagement party or Heartland Engagement party" Hayley said. "Heartland Engagement party" is perfect it's short and sweet, also it tells people where it will be held great job you should consider marketing" Lou said and Hayley smiled before pouring herself a cup of coffee and quickly hurrying back to Lilly.

 (8 hours later 6:30pm)

Guests were arriving like crazy clearly everyone buzzed the party up by spreading the word. Georgie was in her room getting into a nice relaxing outfit, "Amy what do you think up or down" Georgie said playing with her hair. "Any way you have your beautiful and that outfit is amazing. Deciding to have her hair down Georgie grabbed her black leather jacket that complemented her beautiful knee high blue dress. Meanwhile Dominic was in the living room going over the song he had chosen for tonight. Suddenly Georgie came into his view and he completely forgot the song and just wanted to admire her beauty. "Wow, you look amazing" Dominic said. "Thank you shall we get to the party now" Georgie smiled taking Dominic's hand. Nodding his head they exited the house together and walked over to the tents that jack had set up hours before. 

Mills had set up a stage area for the performance and awaited his friend. "Okay everyone please lets have a welcome to our special guests tonight the newly engaged couple Dominic Heart and Georgie Fleming Morris the entire area lit up with cheers and clapping as they entered smiling holding one another tight. "Aren't they just adorable anyway lets kick this party off Mr Heart if you please" Mills said indicating towards the stage. Laughing Dominic let go off Georgie and joined mills on the stage. 

Everyone started vibing to the music and georgie couldn't take her eyes off Dominic and he noticed big time. 

"You know I'm in love with Georgie right so I feel it's only fitting that this next song express my feelings wouldn't you agree" Dominic said to the entire tent. 

Dominic heart danced the night away with Georgie and the two left the tent spending some quality time with one another.
