"I told you Calum! I know Dylan. He's a wimp. He will cheat and do whatever to win. I'm surprised he didn't have a knife. Next time, you need to listen to me. Yeah Michael could have taken him, if Dylan didn't cheat his way through everything. This is my fault. I knew this was going to happen. I just hoped it didn't. I should've brought Mason with me when I left. It would've saved us all this shit" I paced around the kitchen.
"Sissy, he's awake" Mason says from the stairs. I nod and make my way to the bedroom.
"Hey Mikey. I'm so sorry. I didn't expect this. I told Calum to put me down because I knew Dylan-"
He smiles but it's easy to tell he's in pain. "Madd I'm fine. Don't worry. Okay?" I sigh. "Maddie?"
"Okay."
He pats the bed beside him and I sit down as gently as possible. "I will be okay. I promise."
I nod and try to fix his messy hair, it's pointless but very comforting. Why are you so cute when you're hurt?
"Maddie, why did Dylan hurt Michael? What did he do" Mason asks from the floor beside me.
I sigh. "I don't know bud. But I promise, he's not going to hurt any of us again." This makes him smile.
"Open a can of Maddie-beat-down on him." Michael chuckles and I nod at Mason. "Sorry Michael. Dylan's a turd monkey."
Michael smiles and rubs Mason's hair. "Don't worry about it buddy, I'm strong." He flexes his muscle through his pain. Thank you I mouth to him. And he grins at me.
~~~~~hours later~~~~
"Maddie Hun! Phone" gram yells from the kitchen. It's your mom she mouths. SHIT!
"Hello?"
"HOW COULD YOU JUST DISOWN YOUR BROTHER LIKE THAT? AFTER ALL THE THINGS HE'S DONE FOR YOU! YOU UNGRATEFUL BITCH!"
Perfect. Dylan leaves and I'm blamed for it... Again.
"WHEN I GET TO AUSTRALIA YOU ARE IN SO MUCH TROUBLE YOUNG LADY!"
I sigh. Don't make it worse Maddie. Don't do it.
"AND YOU WILL MOVE BACK TO LONDON AND FORGET ABOUT WHATEVER PLANS YOU HAD IN AUSTRALIA!"
"IT'S NOT MY DAMN FAULT YOUR ASSHOLE OF A SON WALKED OUT ON US AGAIN. I'M SURPRISED HE BROUGHT MASON HERE! I THOUGHT HE WOULD'VE LEFT HIM BY HIMSELF AGAIN! SO DON'T YOU DARE BLAME THIS SHIT ON ME!"
*silence*
"Okay Maddie. You're going to regret everything that you just did and said when I get there."
