The Karaoke.

    Esja decided that she was gonna go on vacation to escape the heck of a life she was living in back in Malta. So she dragged her biggest friends Carla and Matthea to go with her. And I mean, come on who is gonna refuse to go a trip to Slovenia? All of those beautiful mountains lakes and even men how can you resist not going!? 

   They packed there bags and left excitedly nervous for what will happen next. On the plane ride there Esja kept on thinking if this trip will effect her further in anyway? Well she just needed to wait and see what will happen in a few hours time! When they landed, picked up there luggage, checked there passports, booked a taxi and arrived at the small apartment they will be staying for the next 3 months they were exhausted! So, they decided to take the rest of the evening easy. It was 2pm so they could sleep for a bit and they could decided what they wanted to do after they woke up.

    Matthea's alarm went off it was about 6pm so they got the idea to go to a nearby karaoke club. They mostly wanted to go so they can gossip and make fun of the people singing. They hoped into the shower one by one got dressed put on some light makeup and left. When they arrived they noticed that it was a kind of restaurant. A nice and kind waitress explaned that when it was time for karaoke time a spotlight will shine one a table and they will HAVE TO sing on the stage in front of everyone. The three of them like challenges so they sat down and ordered some food hoping that they wouldn't be chosen because they would be eating. 

"Hello, hello, hello everyone the karaoke is about to begin so let's see who will be the first table to sing!" Said the host.

     Two tables were chosen and honestly they couldn't stop laughing at them. With all seriousness those people were not good. The second table finished and the spotlight began to move around trying to find a table to select next. Esja had just opened her mouth to eat her onion ring when the spotlight stopped on them. They started to laugh when the host said...

"Come on you've been laughing at the other people, let's see how better you guys are! He said.

      A table with five guys behind them started to laugh but the girls taught nothing of it. They got on stage were there was a microphone, drums, guitar and a bass. Which was good for them because all of them liked rock and knew how to play an instrument. Esja had a decent voice so she took the job of being the singer and guitarist Matthea was the drummer and Carla was the bassist. They chose the song Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana. Every was going smoothly and for the first time in there whole friendship there found out how good they sound together! 

       Many people started to clap there hands with the beat of the song in which they all found very comforting knowing that they were better than they were expecting The song finished with a big round of applause but when it stopped they started to hear the same five guys from before started chanting. "We want more! We want more!" They looked at the host and he said "Well give the audience what they want!" There next song was 505 by Arctic Monkeys. Esja was about to start tearing up with the emotions she was feeling at the time. 

      You see Esja never had the best of luck with relationships in the past all of them turn out to be either toxic or abusive. So love was never a feeling that she knew how to feel. Not even from her parents all they cared about was being the top of the class with high marks. And music was always there to help her feel just a bit better for example ones she had considered commiting suicide but with hearing Don't Try Suicide by Queen over and over again and obvious with the help of Carla and Matthea she was still alive. And 505 being a song that helped her escape reality for just 4 minutes really helped her. To be fair Esja never really paid for a therapist because she had the world's best therapist's Carla and Matthea which were always there to support her when her world was falling apart.

      Being in toxic relationships is also one of the reasons why she went on a trip to Slovenia. She had just been with a guy which wasn't the best for her mental health.

      After they finished the song she was capable of controlling her emotions and not crying. Just as they bowed one of the five men shouted "IS THE GIRL IN THE PURPLE SHIRT AND BLACK PANTS SINGLE?!?!" And the only person which was wear a purple shirt and a black pants was Lea. She froze so Matthea and Carla answer fror her and they said "Yes!" As they left the stage they couldn't stop giggling with the taught of a random person asking if Esja was single. It was getting late so they thought that it would be a better idea to go for a stroll and after go back to the apartment.
