Unexpected Happiness II (Phayurain)

I

The luxurious cold room is dominated by grayish white with a pair of sofa chairs with a large work desk that stands proudly dominating it. The sound of the mobile game was loud with groans and grumbles from the little omega whose eyes were watching the cell phone very seriously. Until a loud whine was heard as he slammed his cell phone in annoyance on the table, after finally losing the game. His back slumped against the back of the sofa with a visible frown.

"Huh." A rough sigh came out of the little omega who whined roughly with his body squirming on the sofa in frustration. He had been sitting on the sofa for 2 hours without doing anything, just sitting and playing games on his cell phone. His sigh made someone across from him roll their eyes in annoyance at his behavior. "Shut up Rain! You keep sighing. You're so loud." The thrown sofa pillow landed on Rain's body and received a sharp glare from him.

Annoyed, Rain threw the sofa pillow again. "I'm really bored here, Sky. We've been here almost 2 hours!" he whined with both legs kicking the air. Sky looked away from the comic book he was reading seriously just to reply to his best friend's whine. "Shut up and don't act! P'Pai and P'Phayu told us to stay here, brats!" Rain sighed in resignation hearing all his friend's words.

Flashback

Rain rolled his eyes around the tall building in front of him, he was in front of the company's main entrance. His eyes scanned everything interesting in front of him with his clear round eyes. After 5 years together with Phayu and finished college a year ago. This was the first time he was invited by Phayu to visit his company, more precisely, Rain was invited by Phayu to work.

Rain was very excited to observe every worker passing by and looked down when he passed their line. Rain responded with a big smile every time he got a bow from every Phayu employee. Rain turned his gaze towards the back where Phayu was and was discussing with Por about the file in his hand very seriously.

Rain turned his gaze back to the front because he heard the noisy footsteps of several employees in neat suits. After arriving in front of them, the employees bowed their heads towards them. "Welcome Master Phayu." A simultaneous greeting was issued by the man in the suit. Rain, who was shocked to see him, immediately took his steps back until he was level with Phayu.

Rain almost fell from surprise when he suddenly got a hug on his waist. Rain whined in annoyance and hit Phayu's hand on his waist. "Alpha!!!" Phayu just chuckled softly as he tightened his arms around Rain's waist. "What do you think? Come on, let's go in, baby." Rain nodded enthusiastically in response to Phayu's words.

After a few minutes they finally arrived in front of Phayu's room. Rain beamed at the large door in front of him and his eyes scanned the surroundings which were dominated by luxurious furniture. When they were about to enter the room Por suddenly stopped them. "Master Phayu, I will tell you something. The replacement bodyguard assigned to guard Master Rain will be a little late because there are spies following him." Por handed Phayu a tablet that showed the location of the bodyguard's whereabouts.

Phayu watched him and fiddled with the tablet in front of him irritably. "Change that guard, I don't want him guarding my omega. Take care of the problem and replace it with a new bodyguard as soon as possible." Por lowered his head and started contacting his other fellow bodyguards. Rain just stared confusedly while listening to the conversation in front of him. "Where's P'Big? Why doesn't he just guard Rain?" Por was about to answer Rain's question, when suddenly Phayu interrupted his words.

"He's on sick leave, baby." Rain was about to ask further but he thought better of it when he saw Por's scared expression. Instead he just nodded slowly and went back to observing his surroundings as if there was no such question. Por, realizing the change in atmosphere, tried to change the topic to another one. "Master Phayu, your meeting will start soon, let me take you to the room." Por said politely and prepared to leave.
