Jimin strolled through the school corridor, a sense of solitude weighing on him.
Wonwoo had been persistent in his efforts to befriend Jimin, and he seemed genuinely determined to make amends for past misunderstandings.
Each morning, Wonwoo would approach Jimin with a warm smile and kind words, trying to bridge the gap between them.
"Good morning, Jimin!"
Wonwoo greeted as he sidled up to Jimin, wrapping an arm around his shoulder.
It was a friendly gesture, or at least it was meant to be, but it made Jimin uncomfortable. He couldn't shake the feeling that something wasn't quite right.
Jimin forced a smile, not wanting to be rude.
"Morning, sunbaenim," he replied, his voice laced with a hint of hesitation. It was a delicate dance, trying to be polite while guarding his boundaries.
As they walked through the corridor together, Jimin's unease grew.
Wonwoo's touch felt invasive, and Jimin couldn't help but wonder if his intentions were entirely innocent.
A wave of discomfort washed over him, but just as he was about to confront Wonwoo, a glimmer of hope appeared in the distance.
Jimin's eyes widened as he spotted Yoongi standing at their usual meeting spot, engrossed in conversation with his friends.
Relief surged through him, and he didn't waste a second. He swiftly stepped away from Wonwoo, leaving the confused boy behind.
"Sorry," Jimin mumbled, his eyes fixed on Yoongi.
"I just remembered I have to talk to Yoongi hyung about something. I'll catch you later." Without waiting for a response, Jimin rushed toward Yoongi, his heart lightening with each step.
As he reached Yoongi noticed the unease in Jimin's eyes. Concerned, Yoongi asked, "Is everything okay, Jimin? You seem a bit off."
Jimin hesitated for a moment, debating whether to confide in Yoongi about the uncomfortable encounter with Wonwoo.
But fearing it might cause unnecessary drama, he chose not to burden Yoongi with the details.
"I'm fine," he replied with a forced smile. "Just had something on my mind, that's all."
Yoongi nodded understandingly, not pressing further.
He valued Jimin's trust and knew that if there was something to share, Jimin would eventually open up. With a reassuring pat on Jimin's back, Yoongi turned to his friends, signaling that it was time to move on.
All five of them walked together, eager to face the challenges of the day.
---
The sun had begun its descent, casting long shadows across Jimin's room as he returned home from school.
An unsettling restlessness gnawed at him, for he couldn't find his personal diary, the one Yoongi had gifted him.
Panic welled up within him as he ransacked his room, searching every nook and cranny, but the diary remained elusive.
An uneasy thought nagged at him-had Yoongi taken it without his knowledge?
Yoongi had always been curious about what Jimin wrote in that diary, so maybe he took it without him knowing.
With a frustrated huff, Jimin pulled out his phone and dialed Yoongi's number.
He needed answers, and he needed them now. "Yoongi," he began, his voice trembling with a mix of frustration and anxiety, "have you seen my diary? I can't find it anywhere."
