God damn it! Why do I even bother? They hate me anyway and this is the last straw. They are still yelling down my ear. I have had enough.
" You know what?! I quit!" coming from the inner core of my soul. The lady stopped yelling nonsense into my ear as she stood there in shock. As did everyone else, until the manager spoke.
"Good, you didn't belong here anyway!" with an aggressive tone. I stared at him and my co-workers who hated me from the beginning and walked out.
When I got home, I went straight to my room and flopped onto my bed. Great, now I'm gonna find work. Or who knows the store gets shut down, it's happened before. I scroll through my phone watching stuff on TikTok and YouTube. When I got a call from my parents, great.
"Hey there kid, it's Dad. Hope you are doing well. We are sending food and some of your stuff to you. I know it's annoying to be living on your own but I know you can do it, kid. Bye, love you, kid."
I sigh remembering what got me into this mess. Ever since I was born I have caused problems for my family. First, it was my mother being in the hospital because of some complications, causing more problems making her stay in the hospital. Then my school, every time I had a problem with a friend something would happen to that friend or the school and now my jobs are getting bullied by almost everyone because they think I'm cursed. No matter what I do I seem to make things worse even if it wasn't bad to begin with.
I just hope tomorrow is better than every other one. Please just do this once.I woke up the day starting as any other, but this time looking for work to no avail. While looking at my laptop in the living room I hear a knock at the door. I go to the peephole and see the tent of the building and a friend of my parents at the door. I allow him in, closing the door behind him.
" I heard about you quitting your job. Don't worry. You know me, just if you help with money or finding a job you know-" hesitating and waiting for me to say something.
" I know and I appreciate it. I do. But I gotta wait until I find a job and pay what I can. thanks, Chris." with a nod, he goes not without returning and giving me a bag of food and a box full of my stuff.
" I got good food and threw away what your parents were gonna give you. Because it was moulding when it got here." I gave a quick hug while saying.
" Thanks so much, Chirs, I would be dead if it wasn't for you." With a grateful smile, I let go as I said goodbye to him closing the door.
