How many of us live ~

Our lives from day to day?

Only to find we can't,

Get out of our own way?

We try to find balance ~

Strive to improve our lives.

Only to find we're lost,

In a labyrinth of lies.

Trying to decipher ~

This cryptogram of time.

Searching for the answer,

Within these words of rhyme.

Never really knowing ~

Just what we're looking for.

Maybe it will find us,

If we search a little more?

We've travelled down this road ~

The path to misery.

Battled the moat monsters,

And conquered evil queens.

All just to find ourselves ~

Gazing into the haze.

How much more must we endure,

Before exiting this maze.

There's got to be a light ~

Somewhere around the bend.

A conclusion or an end,

To halt this rapid descent.

Somehow, Someway, Somewhere ~

Beyond our soulful cries.

We must stand tall to defeat,
