The hardest thing in life is to see a mother cry,
Cry for her family,
Cry for her children,
Cry for her own freedom,
When the hard shell breaks,
Tears run down her soft face,
Causing her children to see the real pain,
A husband that doesnt seem to care,
Wondering off to God knows where,
Her children protecting her from the pain,
Saying soothing words and giving comfort,
Protecting their siblings from going through the same.
The sense of freedom lost,
With the eyes full of hurt and pain,
The feelings no one else can reach,
The eyes of despair and pain,
the most heartbreaking thing,
Is when you cant do anything,
No words can heal the wounds embedded in her heart,
No song that can lift her mouth.
A mother should never cry for her family,
she should feel free and loved,
Only shall she cry on their wedding days,
When the bells chime for their perfect lives.
