"Dustin you need to stay still so i can get the proton pack on."
"But I need to make sure my hair looks good!"
Halloween. Dustin's favorite holiday.
Ever since they were kids, the Henderson's always dressed up for Halloween without fail. Their staircase was littered with pictures of them in different costumes throughout the ages.
This year Dustin and the party were going as Ghostbusters. Dylan hadn't decided what she was dressing as, she didn't have many plans for Halloween other than trick-or-treating with Jonathon and the kids.
"Max is gonna think I look amazing." Dustin grinned as he did finger guns in the mirror. Dylan raised a brow as she finally got the proton pack strapped on his back.
"Max?" Dylan asked with an amused smile.
"Yeah! She's this pretty new girl in our class. She even plays video games, she got the high score in dig dug!" Dustin exclaimed, turning to face Dylan with a wide grin.
Dylan had never seen Dustin crush on someone before, it was seriously adorable.
"How does she look like? She nice?" Dylan asked.
"She's so pretty! She has this amazing long red hair and she does thing where she rolls her eyes at us but I know she secretly loves us." Dustin rambled. Dylan thought back to when she saw the small redhead step out of Billy's car that day, the one who skateboarded toward the middle school.
That girl was Dustin's crush?
"Does she skateboard?" Dylan asked, Dustin nodded with bright eyes.
"Yeah! And she knows how to do these amazing flips and stuff too- wait how do you know she skates." Dustin asked as Dylan grabbed her bag and shuffled then out of her room.
"Her older brother goes to my school."

"You need to stop staring at them."
"Im not!"
"I wasn't even talking to you but Dyl, you gotta stop staring too."
Dylan rolled her eyes but hastily pulled her gaze away from Steve.
Aiden, Dylan, and Jonathon were in the library that afternoon getting some work done before they met up for trick-or-treating.
And of course, because Hawkins loved to make them miserable, Steve and Nancy were a few tables across from them.
"It's not healthy." Aiden shook his head at his two friends.
"Hey, it's not like we're stalking them." Dylan whacked Aiden's shoulder with her pencil, and the boy just chuckled.
"No, he's right. Nancy and Steve have always been the IT couple and we knew it. We need to stop obsessing." Jonathan sighed, and Dylan cringed.
"Who said anything about obsessing? I get you obsessing over Nancy but Steve Harrington is still Dickhead Harrington in my eyes, no matter how much my heart likes to go clip-clop when I see him" Dylan shook her head and the boys just laughed.
From across the library, Steve and Nancy could be seen secretly stealing glances at the trio. The monster-hunting group was closer but because of the couple, they rarely hung out together anymore.
Steve couldn't help but steal glances at the Henderson girl. Her hair was let down over her shoulders, she was wearing a pastel yellow polo tee and a long white skirt.
Steve couldn't help but notice how close Jonathan Aiden and Dylan had gotten. The trio seemed to go everywhere together, like how they were in freshman year.
