Chapter 5: Sieged Part 2

'Sometimes Trust must be earned Not given'

Narrator: "Castle under attack! Princess Pina Co Latta is under siege by an army of soldiers from her kingdoms vassal states turned rogue and her militia is slowly diminishing. Realizing that her situation is dire she sends word to her order of the Rose, who are unable to get there in time. General Y/n L/n and his squad of clone troopers march up to the gates of Italica to hopefully gain the trust of her royal highness."

Pina P.O.V

I was woken up from my slumber to the gate to find horses made of iron and men clad in white armor surrounding them lounging about. I could see more people behind them, but I couldn't get a good look because they were in the way.

Hamilton: "What those horses made of?"

Pina: "Iron?"

Guard: "Identify yourselves!"

That got their attention as the men stood up and I got a look at the others behind them. A girl with blue hair and a staff.

Pina: "That staff, only a lindon wizard can use one."

I looked to the left and saw and elf girl.

Pina: "And an elf!? If they know how to combine their powers it could end up being a serious problem."

But the last woman I saw made my heart stop as she headed towards the gate with the others hold her axe over her shoulders. Rory Mercury herself......

Pina: "Rory Mercury's with them!?"

Gray: "Rory the reaper? That's not good....."

Pina: "I saw her performing her rituals a few weeks ago."

Gray: "Why would an apostle of Emroy choose to join a band of brigands?"

Pina: "Well, it wouldn't really surprise me much."

Gray: "What? Why?"

Pina: "The gods decisions seem to be whimsy sometimes...."

Gray: "I wouldn't say that in front of the oracle if I were you Princess."

Pina: "Perhaps, but even the gods can be damn fools."

Gray facepalmed.

Gray: "I did not just hear you say that..."

Hamilton: "What are we gonna do? they're coming this way."

I looked back to all the militia men who gathered at the gate, some of these men have never even been in a fight. I pulled Hamilton into a huddle.

Pina: "If these Bandits have Rory the reaper on their side we have to consider the battle already lost."

Hamilton: "That's true..."

Pina: "That being said, we still don't know if they're truly out enemy.......What do we do?"

We then heard a knocking coming from the other side of the gate which made us jump. I breathed and prepared myself

Pina: "Ok, if this group is not our enemy, we certainly want them to join us. Open the gate."

The barricades were quickly removed and I burst the gate wide open and heard a loud thud.

???: "OW MY KRIFFING NOSE!"

Pina: "Welcome to Italica friends!"

I looked down to find a man in some sort of robes on the ground holding his nose in pain.
