"The first-years are going to have their broomstick lesson in a little while, run over there and watch them before Madam Hooch picks them up," Minerva McGonagall ordered, and Scorpius seemed to jump with excitement at being given such an important task.

But time passed, and the instructor was nowhere to be found. An important visit from the Ministry delayed her. Because she was an expert on brooms, she was also an adviser to the Ministry regarding the purchase of brooms for Aurors.

Of course, the first-graders got bored and played tag. Scorpius was a little nervous to ensure no one got hurt or lost. He ran around in a somewhat confused manner to keep all his charges under control, admonishing them in a way that only elicited bursts of laughter. He was getting angry. He suddenly noticed a tall man with dishevelled dark hair in the middle of a cluster of children. An excited expression immediately spread across his face. His best friend Albus decided to help him and excused himself from history class. He was here now, and the kids obviously liked him more than their prefect. He acted like one of them, enthusiastically running, jumping and laughing along with the others.

He motioned for Scorpius to join them. He didn't really want to, but he always did what Albus told him to do. In the end, it wasn't bad at all. Why shouldn't Malfoy be playing tag anyway?

"I've got you!" Albus shouted, holding the Prefect in his arms. Scorpius could hardly catch his breath. Merlin's beard! Albus was holding him, touching him all over, his breath shimmering on his cheeks.

Yes, I am all yours, Scorpius thought. No, he didn't think it, he actually said it out loud! He would prefer to crawl into a hole. But it wasn't possible, Albus was holding him too tightly. He held him, and suddenly he felt his lips on his. Scorpius didn't care at that moment that he was surrounded by a bunch of kids and that they were in the public playground, he pressed himself close to Albus and kissed him back because he had been waiting for this his whole life. He had Albus, and Albus had him... He was kissing him everywhere he could reach, caressing him, touching him like only in his wildest dreams. What if it really is just a dream and it ends?

Albus gently pushed him away. "Not that I don't like it, but I'd hate for you to lose the benefits of a Prefect bathroom."

Scorpius smiled at him and looked around. Everyone acted like nothing happened.

"Where did you go?" asked the inquisitive student.

"Nowhere, we've been here the whole time," Albus said slyly.

"We didn't see you," the student continued.

Scorpius looked at Albus questioningly.

"I hid us under an invisibility cloak."

If Scorpius had been in love before, now he was literally lost. He listened to Madam Hooch's praise that he could be relied upon as a Prefect and followed Albus to the lake. After all, they won't return to school for history now. He sat down beside Albus on the bank and let his arm wrap around his shoulders.

"Thank you. For everything. You came, you are so considerate, and you are always here when I need you. And I need you all the time, Albus."

"I'll always be here for you, Scorp. I love you, you know?"
