8. A new beginning

There will be smut. But it will be marked.

The mer laid on his back and gave a small hum. His dark eyes looked up to the surface of the ocean. It moved from side to side. Here was no sign of the autumn. It was rather warm near the underwater volcanoes. He gave a small groan as he heard someone come closer.

His fins flared up for a second until he saw that it was Toya with some bug fish in his mouth. His body instantly calmed down and settled onto the comfortable ground.

He had placed some bedding outside of the cave to make it more comfortable. His alluring heavy and strong scent was now around him like a wall. The water all around the cave and nearby tasted like him. But not in a sweeter way than before. Just heavy...salty...and a certain taste that made Toya's insides twist and his scales heat up and pulsate.

Touya had caught two big tunas while bringing them back to his mate so he could eat in peace. He knew his heat was getting worse and stronger. Surely his scent and presence made him twist and pulsate in his own body and heat up. Although he felt no change at all still. He was perfectly normal in his own body. But he wasn't too concerned about it.

He placed the fish down next to him. "Here. It's all yours." He reassured the other as he began to rip the meat off of the scales and bones and give it to his lovely mate to devour. His appetite increased. He was making sure he was always full.

Tenko looked at him and gave a low smile. "Thank you, you should take some yourself as well. And rest a bit here." He hummed and tool one fish with his teeth. He pulled it closer and started to work on it. He left the other fish to Toya.

"I don't want you to hunger now..please make sure you stay strong." He smiled at him and kissed his cheek.

"Yes yes. I will make sure." He smiled and gently began to eat the other tuna and go wolfing down onto it. He was thinking about what to simply get Tenko later on. Smiling softly a little bit to himself.

He ate his tune and left more than half of it as he pushed the fish to Tenko so he could eat. He was still sacrificing the food for Tenko since he needed him to be full. He ate of course. How else would he still be energized right now? "I'll be back in a bit." He replied and swam off to get some gifts for Tenko.

Tenko smiled and kissed him on his cheek as a goodbye and then a small kiss on his lips. He stayed where he was as he looked after him with a smile.

About 20 minutes later Toya came across some Mers. He at first wasn't sure if he was still in Siren territory but then he figured he must have gone over the border. So the Siren decided to lay low to not get caught.

That's when his eyes inspected the two closer. One was all smiles as they swam around their partner. The other looked happy as well as they touched heads for a second.

Touya had a bunch of things in his arms. A few soft pillowy and soft materials for nest making. Some more food and more nest materials. The way the two mermaids were swimming around one another and smiling. Gently giving small gestures of touches and giggles to one another really made him curious as he watched while the two continued. They were mates, that's what he learned.

Perhaps.. Heat season had already started. Maybe the two were in heating and it was the mating ritual dance thing his mother told him about? He was growing a lot more curious. He watched the two very closely as he smiled. Studying their movements. Who he assumed was the Merman's movements more for Tenko would carry his eggs. Of course he had to study and know what he'd have to do for the eggs to be fertilized.

Of course he wasn't gonna stand there and just watch the two have sex together. That's just disgusting and creepy. But he got the information he needed by studying their movements. The way their tails brushed and wrapped around one another. How happy they both looked. He only gave a small smile at the couple before swimming off to his own beautiful mate. A prince to be exact. The most precious mate anyone could have.
