I lay by the river as it rushes by
My hair flows in the water

The water washes the stars out of my hair
They dont appreciate the escape

Stars are homely creatures
They crawl up into my eyes

For a second, Im blinded
I learn to trust the silence

The grass grows below me
Pushing me steadily

When I breathe in deep
Flowers obscure my lungs

I want the water to wash me away
