Y/N's anger was so thick, that it made Tanjiro feel scared that he would be killed for breathing without permission, when it wasn't even directed at him. Y/N speaks to Muzan.
Y/N: I'll fucking exterminate you, you piece of abomination...!
Muzan suddenly felt his instincts scream at him to jump, as he looks back at where Y/N was merely a second ago, to see that only Tanjiro was there.
Where was Y/N? This question was answered rather quickly.
Y/N: Hinokami Kagura. Dance!
He connects a huge strike at Muzan, as the demon looks at Y/N in shock.
Muzan: Just now... what the fuck was that? He... he got even faster...!
Y/N: Hinokami Kagura! Clear blue sky! Hinokami Kagura! Raging sun!
Y/N successfully connected the first three forms, but stumbled while trying to connect the fourth form and had to put some distance between himself and Muzan before he jumped back in the fight.

Muzan knew that he had been injected by Tamayo with a drug that was meant to turn him back into human, but it had failed.
Even so, Muzan felt as if there was more. He decided to figure it out as he brought back the cells of Tamayo that he had absorbed.
In Muzan's conscience, Tamayo had regenerated as a severed head, as Muzan takes the head into his palm.
Muzan: What did you do to me? The drug you put in me, wasn't it supposed to turn me into a human?
Tamayo: The drug I gave you... it turned you into a human... and...
She grins at him.
Tamayo: I'm not telling you. Why don't you use those useless braincells you now have?
Muzan destroys her head in his anger.

He searched into her memories and came across a certain memory with Shinobu and Tamayo's apprentice, Yushiro.
He recognises Shinobu from her battle against Douma.

The three were in a lab and working on some drugs.
Shinobu: Let's try creating a hybrid drug. We should proceed forward with the assumption that the drug will decompose.
