One shot: Joon

My best friend Namjoon has invited me as his plus one for a party at his workplace, and of course i said yes. One thing I never told him was that I have had a crush on him for a long time. but I never gathered the courage to actually tell him. but lately i have got this weird feeling that he might like me back, since he has begun to tease me and joke around with me more, telling me i am beautiful and not approving of anyone i have pointed out i find attractive or might like, even if it was people he knew. Or maybe it's just my head messing with me, but today, i want to find out, i can't keep living with this feeling of what if and all that stuff.

Since it is a work party i decided to find a fancy but sexy dress i can wear and spent almost the entire day getting ready, shaving every part of my body except my head of course, take a long nice bath and really go all out with everything, so now i will just have to put on makeup and fix my hair. deciding to curl it since he has always complimented my hair this way, and putting on some light makeup but just enough for it to match with the dress. putting on my heels and grabbing my purse I text him to tell him I am on my way. Arriving at his company I exit my car and quickly fix my dress before I enter. taking in a final deep breath to prepare me for this evening with Joon. Walking in the door I say hi to the few people i meet on the way over to Joon who i see is standing and talking with some girl, smiling at something she just said then turns to look in my direction when she points at me. "It is nice to finally meet you." she says as she shakes my hand. "Well I will be right back, going to get us some drinks." Joon says as he lets go of me finally, i didn't even realize he never let go of me from the hug. "soo. aren't you pretty? Joon has told me everything about you, but failed to mention that your beauty was out of this world." she says with a huge smile and a raised brow. "I hope he didn't say anything bad about me. I never know what he tells people." I say with a little nervous laugh and look in his direction. "he hasn't said anything bad, don't you worry about that. well it was nice meeting you, i will go find my date again. you two have fun." she then says, giving a smirk as i see Joon come back with me with two glasses in his hands. his eyes never leave me as he walks closer and he really does look as handsome as always. "hey pretty. brought you a glass of champagne." he says as he walks closer and hands me the glass. "thanks Joonie." I say, smiling to him as I take the glass and take a sip. "ok, now down to business." he says, then suddenly looks intimidating. "what do you mean." he turns to face me completely then hover above me, taking my breath away. "How dare you show up in a dress like this," he says. his tone sounded so deep but not angry. "wh-what.." I only manage to say before he interrupts. "don't get me wrong. you look absolutely amazing. but you make me wanna rip your dress off right this instant. maybe i can't contain myself." he says as he bites his lip. Here is the teasing but this time it felt even more like flirting, and a warning. Does he really think that? "Really? but what if I want you to?" I ask him, never letting a challenge go.
