This story is obviously going to be short cause I'm not a professional writer. I'm just a young girl based in Nigeria who doesn't know how to make use of her words but trying to, so if this story doesn't meet up with your standard, It maybe too Nigerian-ish,I'm sorry but I would like to plead with you to please read it and give me reviews
.......................................
The story has to do with some of my experiences and I would also be adding to it. It's also going to be a prose narrative mixed with drama"Have you packed your things yet?" My mom said to me when she saw me pressing phone
"No ma" I replied her
"And you're sitting down there pressing your phone, will you drop that phone now and go pack your things? That's the only thing you know how to do best" she said and hissed after
I dropped my phone and I went to pack my things as we moved to our new home the next morning
I was at home pressing phone when my dad called out to me and asked if I had read anything at all that day, I couldn't say anything cause I knew it was going to end up with an insult, "won't you answer me?" He said angrily and I replied "no sir" with a shaky voice
"Yet you sat down there pressing phone knowing fully well that your junior waec is coming up soon. God will let you fail that exam and you'll see what I'll do to you and your mom who got you a phone at this young age, will you go inside now and read?"
I stood up and left for my room to read when my mom stepped in to say "may I not regret that I got you this phone, you can hear what your dad said. Ever since I got you this phone, you have stopped reading, even the stories you write before, you don't write them anymore. If you like read, if you like don't read, it's all up to you" she left the room after saying that
