Night's POV

"W-what?" I asked shocked.

Cat looked at me. "I'm sorry, Night. But I don't want to be anywhere near Lloyd."

"Then why don't you just leave?"

She looked at me thoughtfully. "I suppose I could go back to the Row family."

I didn't want her to go but I knew this might be the only way I didn't want to work with Hawkmoth. I nodded. "Seems like a good idea."

She sighed and flopped onto her bed. "I'll tell everyone tomorrow."

When she was asleep, I hurried to Lloyd's room. He was awake and pacing. "Lloyd!" I said.

He looked up. "Night? What are you doing here?"

"Cat was planning to join Hawkmoth but I managed to convince her to just go back to the Row house."

He blinked. "We got into a fight and she's leaving?"

"It's better than being here and being miserable!"

He groaned. "I didn't want her to leave, Night!"

"She's miserable."

"So am I!"

"Then why don't you be with one another!"

"Are you crazy? She can't handle what I am!"

Fang zipped out of his hiding spot. "Night, Lloyd is a hero. You can't expect to stop."

"I'm not expecting that. I just want him to go and convince Cat to stay here! She's the only holder I actually like," I yelled.

Fang glared. "Well..."

"I'll talk to her," Lloyd said quietly.

Fang looked at him. "But it's not your fault!"

"That doesn't matter, Fang. You and I both know I still love her. I won't be able to live with her being far away."

Fang sighed. "Alright."

Lloyd's POV

I knocked on her door and she opened it. "What do you want?" She snapped.

"Don't leave," I said quietly.

"Give me one good reason why I should stay."

"I'll give you two. Me and Night. You are the only holder Night likes and I...I love you."

She snorted. "If you love me then why did you push me away."

"Do you want the truth?" I asked.

"Yes."

"Because I'll always be a hero risking his life to keep people safe."

She watched me for a minute. "Why?"

"All my life I thought I had to be evil like Garmadon. You made me see differently." I smiled a little. "How about we stay together and make a deal?"

She eyed me suspiciously. "What type of deal?"

"You let me be who I am and I'll watch any movie you want without complaining." I hated this deal but it might work.

She started grinning. "So we start with Romeo and Juliet and go from there?"

I groaned. "Seriously?"

"Hey, you said no complaining."

I looked at Fang and Night. Night shook her head. "Don't look at us. You made the deal."

"Dammit," I grumbled.

Cat moved out of the doorway. "Come on in."

I went in and she put in the DVD. We both sat on her bed and eased back against the headboard. Soon enough we both fell asleep.
