Task Force Six

Love is for children

That night the task force was sitting on their own again, talking about that day's training.

"Hey Relyn!" Bella said running up to Reylyn as Pietro ran up behind her "I've gotta tell you something!" Bella said as she quickly sat next to him

"Jesus Christ, what is it Bella?" Reylyn said as he looked at Bella, a hint of annoyance in his voice.

"Well you see I'm about to expose my brother" Bella says with a Mischievous smirk "So are you ready?" Bella asks impatiently

Reylyn crossed one leg over the other as he leaned back against his chair.
"Go ahead," he said as he looked at Bella, glancing over to Pietro for a slight second.

"My brother Pietro likes you Reylyn!" Bella says quickly smiling mischievously

Pietro blushing his face turning almost completely red

"Mhmm, alright whatever you say." Reylyn said with a slight smirk under the mask as he got up, figuring Bella was just messing around as he left the mess hall.

Pietro walks out to find Reylyn

"Hey Reylyn where are you at?" Pietro says looking for Reylyn

When Pietro turned the hallway corner he saw Reylyn with the fabric alternative to his normal mask pulled up and resting on his nose. He was blowing smoke from his mouth as he looked at Pietro and pulled his mask back down.
"Oh uhm- hey Pietro." He said as he cleared his throat, shoving something into his pocket

"Can I be honest with you Reylyn?" Pietro asked nervously

"Go ahead," Reylyn said, looking at Pietro.

" My sister was right.. I do like you… " Pietro says, looking at Reylyn and blushing

"I'm sure that's not true," Reylyn said as he started ahead before looking at the floor, his hands in his pockets.

"It is true… I wouldn't lie about something like this…" Pietro said  calmly

Silence hung in the air for a few moments before Reylyn spoke.
"How?"

"How what Rey?" Pietro asked trying to stay calm

"How do you like..me? I'm not a good person. Everyone knows that." Reylyn said flatly. "I'm always mean towards everyone. How."

"Reylyn, everyone likes you as a friend, they don't think you're a bad person… least of all me.. '' Pietro says hugging Reylyn "I like you Rey… I like your personality, I mean your fun to be around… You're always making sure Keru isn't stealing or shit… and I think you are a good person… you don't have to say anything I just thought you should know how I feel about you…" Pietro says hugging Rey a bit tighter before letting go

Reylyn stood frozen for a second.
"I need to think for a bit, meet me outside the back of the base tomorrow morning." Reylyn said quietly before walking away. However, before he made it to the door he stopped. He turned his head slightly, looking Pietro in the eyes before speaking.
"Thank you, Pietro.."
Before walking to his room.

Pietro stands there smiling to himself for a bit before returning to the base

Later that night in Reylyn and Faelynns dorm, they where far from asleep.

"Something bothering you Rey?" Faelynn said, looking up from the book he was reading.

"Yes. This blasted thought won't get out of my head." Reylyn said as he laid on his back on his cot.

"Pietro again?" Faelynn said with a smirk.

"Shut up." Reylyn said as he flipping onto his side.

"And that's how I know I'm right. What did you tell him?" Faelynn asked.

"Nothing yet. I don't know what to say." Reylyn said as he stood up off the bed and started pacing.
"I don't deserve him. He's cute and funny and ugh!!! He's just a beautiful person that I don't deserve." Reylyn said as he paced.

"You say that about everything Rey, you say you deserve nothing." Faelynn said.

"Because I don't. I'm a weapon not a person." Reylyn said flatly as he looked at Faelynn.

"You know that isn't true. Look, he likes you and you like him. Tell him tomorrow and I promise you won't regret it alright?" Faelynn said as he got up and offered a hug to Reylyn, who slowly walked over and took the offer.

"Now get some sleep, you have a big morning tomorrow." Faelynn said with a smile.

A few moments after Reylyn got into his bed he was asleep, soon after Faelynn turned off the light and whispered "Gute Nacht, kleiner Bruder" before going to sleep himself.

It is now the following morning and Pietro is nervously waiting behind the base like Reylyn asked.
Reylyn soon turned the corner, looking slightly nervous rather than his normal emotionless look.

"Hey Rey" Pietro says nervously

Reylyn came up quite close to Pietro.

"Hey, uhm-.. I thought about uhm… last night.. and I…I gotta admit…I… like you to…" Reylyn said, his eye contact anywhere but Pietro.

"So… does.. that mean… we- does that mean we're like d-dating o-or…."
Pietro saying trying to find the right words

"If you want, yeah." Reylyn said quietly

"I want to know what you want Rey…" Pietro says quietly

"I would like it.." he'd say, still quietly

Pietro hugs Reylyn tightly " are you sure?" Pietro wanting to make sure Reylyn didn't feel pressured to do this relationship

Reylyn nodded as his hands slowly wrapped around pietro.

Pietro wraps his hands around Rey as well "I'm glad we got this cleared up before we head out on our mission today…" Pietro says happily
Bella walks around the corner and sees this happening. "Ohhh I knew it!" Bella says happily

Reylyn seemed startled by Bella's voice and quickly put his face against Pietro's shoulder to hide himself out of embarrassment.

"B-bella don't scare people like that!" Pietro says holding Reylyn tighter and closer to him.

"Sorry I'm just excited I was right!" Bella says loudly

Reylyn's ears went red from embarrassment as he snuffed his face more into Pietro's shoulder, and had his mask been off his face would have been completely red as well.

"I-uh I was just sent to tell you two that were loading up for the mission so get your asal in a rig Now" Bella said shyly

"Alright we uh we'll be right there… " Pietro said blushing

Reylyn nodded silently as Bella walked away.
Pietro lets Relyn go and takes hold of his hand, lacing their fingers together smiling.

Reylyn looked down at their hands and smiled behind his mask as they walked to the rigs.

In the rigs they wait for Price

"Where is the Capitan?" Bella asks

"He's making out with Nikoli!" Keru said as he came running over with a big smile. "I saw them in Price's office while I was walking past!"

Bella's eyes widen as she jumps out of the vehicle and runs towards Price's office "this asal… " Bella says slightly annoyed
When Bella arrived at Price's office neither of the males were present.

"What the-" Bella says confused and starts running back to the rigs
