Chapter 1. Dandion

You had joined with the dandelions just in time, and your best friend Ventus, had been chosen to be the leader of some of them!

You two were walking where many had just laid down their lives, in what would be later known as the first keyblade war.

There were keyblades scattered everywhere, no matter what way you looked.

"Welcome!" You heard a voice say.

You looked out from behind Ventus, where you were walking, to greet the potential new friends.

"You're number 3, I'm Skuld, nice to meet you!" She said to Ventus, not having noticed you yet, she had long straight black hair.

"Oh uh, thanks, you too." Ventus said.

"So, master Ava talked to you too, huh?" The second person said, he had curly white hair.

"Uh, yeah, she said to come here once it was all over, and that I was one of the 5. This is my friend, [Y/N], they aren't one of the 5, but they're a dandelion." Ventus said, you fully stepped out from behind him and waved the two hello, the two waving back.

"We got the same so each as you did Ventus, I'm Ephemer by the way." The white haired boy said, Approaching the two of you, shaking Ventus' hand.

"I'm Ventus by the way, but you can call me Ven." Ven said, finally introducing himself.

It was at this point you took a moment to look around. There were probably hundreds, maybe thousands of kayblades here, each of them was someone who died in the keyblade war. It made you want to cry.

"So, you two know eachother, huh? Must be nice, it's just been me and [Y/N] for as long as I remember."Ventus said.

"I've been pretty much on my own for a bit." Skuld replied.

"I wonder why I was chosen for this. I'm not especially good at anything, and I'm never at the top of the rankings." Ventus said, he'd told you the same thing, word for word when he found out.

"I'm sure master Ava has her reasons." Skill replies.

"You think so? I don't know her all that much. I've barely spoken to her."

"She's easy to talk to, that's for sure."

"You say that about everyone Ephemer." Skuld remarked.

"Not true!" Ephemer countered, the two laughed.

"I'm glad we're friends!" Ventus says, pulling you towards the group.

"Friends. Cool." Someone said as they approached.

"You must be number 4!" Skuld said to the newcomer.

"4? There are already 4 of you here, that'd make me 5." The boy said, living his hat slightly off of his face.

"I'm not ok me of the 5." You said.

"Gotcha. The name's Brain by the way."

"[Y/N]." You responded.

"Ventus, call me Ven."

"Skuld."

"Ephemer."

"I thought I'd be the last here, guess I'm not the laziest of us."

"Guess not."

"So, you the leader?" Brain said to Ephemer, this caught everyone off guard.

The others hadn't discussed any leader, and you weren't even in the runnings.

"No, we haven't decided any of that yet. We should all be here for a decision like that." Ephemer responded.

"Gotcha. Do you think the rules are set in stone or a guideline?" Brain asked, pulling out a green ring bound book.

"They're rules, of course they're set in stone." Skuld responded.

"I get it. Serious one, like master Ava."

"You're not the first to say that."

"Thought you seemed familiar." Ven added.

"But master Ava's so amazing!" Ephemer commented, not realising his mistake in time.

"What do you mean by that!?" Skuld questioned, making the two giggle.

"Seriously, how do we know to trust her?" Brain said.

"She's forcing us to lie to everyone since we're the only ones supposed to know the truth. Looks like that didn't work out." He gestures at you.

"Sorry." Ventus says, obviously a bit ashamed he couldn't keep it a secret.

"Rules are rules. No more people should carry the burden of the past." Ephemer said.

"Got it." Brain responded. "I trust you'll guide us down the right path."

"Same here!" Ventus blurts out.

"I agree. Sure I'm not one of the 5 but I still agree." You add

"Just one more."

The 5 of you'd been waiting for a while and you'd ended up falling asleep, Ventus sat besides you.
