The year was 1994. We see the city of Atlantis, a large city in the Atlantic Ocean (more specifically, the Mediterranean sea, off the coast of Greece) whose aesthetic blended Greek architecture with a high-tech futuristic application. In the heart of the city lied a large palace, where its ruler lied. Within the halls, however, a young teenage couple no older than 19 were frantically running away from something. One was a woman around 5'9" with long red hair, bright green eyes, red lipstick, a fairly athletic build and freckles on her shoulders, as well as a birthmark of a stylized A on her right ankle. She wore a simple white dress with a golden cumberbund, golden bracelets and was barefoot. A small plush rabbit was hanging on the cumberbund. The other was a male around 5'11" with scruffy blonde hair styled in a "heartthrob" look, blue eyes, and a similarly athletic build, befitting a swimmer. He wore a white T-shirt with a simple necklace, red shorts, and sandals. The woman was holding a baby in one arm; a boy with a pale complexion with scruffy red hair, big green eyes, and had freckles on his face. He also had the same birthmark as his mother on his right ankle. The baby wore a light blue blanket sleeper with a white blanket wrapped snugly around his body.

The teenage boy's name was Miles Fishbach, a human from Southern California who loved to surf. The teenage girl was named Teresa, who Miles nicknamed "Terry." She was the princess of Atlantis. Two years ago, Miles had met Teresa while he was at the beach and the two fell in love almost instantly. After some time, Teresa became pregnant with a baby boy and in the spring of 1994, Tommaso "Tommy" Fishbach was born. Unfortunately for them, this relationship had been brought to the attention of Teresa's mother, who not only strongly disapproved of this relationship, but was disgusted to find out that her daughter bred a child with such an inferior species. She despised the half-breed newborn, and ordered her soldiers to kill the infant and his father. And that's why the couple was running. They were desperately trying to escape the soldiers that had been ordered by the Queen to chase them. They were running to protect their son. Miles held a plasma rifle in his hand, trying to defend his family.

"Keep shooting, Miles!" Teresa cried, "They're getting closer!"

"I'm trying!" Miles replied, "I'm not even sure if I'm using it right!"

The soldiers were dressed in black powered armor and helmets with visors that obscured their faces. They were holding rifles as they chased their tragets.

"Don't let them escape!" a soldier barked as they opened fire on the family. However, every shot missed. Miles fired a shot at one of the soldiers and struck them down, forcing the other soldiers to fall down. Then he saw something in the distance.

"Terry!" Miles shouted, "I see something up ahead!"

Teresa looked to see a military-style gate. She immediately recognized where it lead to.

"The escape ships!" Teresa declared.

Teresa and Miles went through the doorway, quickly closed the door behind them and locked it, intending on preventing the soldiers from further pursuing them.

Terry looked at her baby, who merely cooed.

"We're going to be okay, my little guppy," the princess cooed as she playfully scratched her baby's chin, "We should be safe long enough to escape."

They looked around to see that they were in an escape room filled with various escape ship, which bore a tetrahedron shape, almost resembling small jets. However, there was only one ship available.

"Escape pods? Awesome!" Miles exclaimed, "This is just like one of my favorite sci-fi movies."

"This is no movie, Miles," replied Teresa, "This is real. Unfortunately, there's only one ship."
