Chapter 1: Confession ( Part -1 ) (fluff) ☁️

It was a peaceful night on going merry. Nami was in her room sleep. Sanji just cleaned up the kitchen and went inside the guy's room to shut his eyes. Usopp was already long asleep, so did chopper.

Robin was in the room reading some really old book about something related to ancient history and artifacts, which she reads for hours and hours and won't even bulge from her seat even if someone calls her. She would be in her own world once she started reading the books.

Zoro was on the night watch today and decided to spend his time in the foremast to have a better view of the ship's surroundings and had a better view from there.

It's quarter after two (2:15), and I couldn't get a blink of sleep. My head is all over the place and I can't help but feel overwhelmed by the fact that I'm truly, madly, deeply in love with the moss head idiot.

I thought it was just a crush and it would pass away after a while but I think it is way past from just a crush. Each and every single day, every minute, every second I fall deeply for Zoro and I can't even hold it anymore.

And lately I'm getting a feeling that this feeling is mutual. That's what drives me even crazier. Is it all just in my head or does Zoro likes me too?

I was feeling stiffness and decided to get some air outside. I walked out to the deck and felt the cold breeze caressing my face gently with the mild scents of sea salt. I closed my eyes and enjoyed the calm nature of the ocean. Until I heard a soft snore from above. My eyes darted to the source of the sound. Foremast.

I climbed my way to the foremast only to find my love, sleeping peacefully instead of doing the night watch. I couldn't help but chuckle looking at him.

I was star struck just by looking at his handsome face. It has been a while and here I'm still gazing at his sleeping face.

"It's starting to get creepy after a while you know" Zoro said in a rusky voice while slowly opening his eyes. I got jumpscare and fell back. "How-w long have you been awake?" I shuttered while my face was turning cherry red. "Since you sneaked in here like how luffy sneaks inside the kitchen to steal the food" he said while yawning. He slowly stood up and made a big stretch to sober up from his sleep and covered himself with the blanket as it was a little bit chilly.

I was just standing there like a log and didn't know what to do and kept my sight everywhere except Zoro. He leaned on the railing, smiling, by how I couldn't even cover the fact that was totally simping this man.

Silence was filled around us but my heart was pounding as hell and I just wanted to run away to our room but surprisingly my legs just refused to move even a single inch, but instead it move towards the railing. My mind went blank and I didn't even know what was I doing or what I am going to do. I too leaned forward towards the railing and just stared at the calm sea and the beautiful waves which looked magical under the moonlight.

A strong breeze crossed us which caused chills run all over my body and a sneezs escaped from me. "Sorry" I said slightly touching my nose.

Suddenly, the very next second, it wasn't freezing anymore. All I could feel was Zoro's arms wrapping around my waist and using the blanket to cover the both of us. "This will keep you warm".

He was hugging me from behind and continued to do the night watch. I could feel his heart beat going all smooth and steady while mine was a second away from busting.

"Y/n" my name escaped from his mouth. I tilted my head a little sideway up to meet his eyes. "Yes?"

He took a deep breath and looked down to see my face. And again his eyes directed towards the sea.

"I'm not really good with words y/n" he paused. "I'm not really good with expressing how I'm feeling either. But all I can say is that, you y/n, all I can think is you and only you, these days" he slowly cooed these words in my ears. "No matter what I do, I always wanna I want to be with you, protect you, cherish you and love you even if my soul left my body"

Words couldn't describe how I was feeling. My whole body was fluttering and was over the cloud nine. I was having all sorts of emotions, and it's just - like I said there weren't words to describe how happy I was.

Zoro looked at me for a response but all he found was a blank y/n. He chuckled. "Cute" with that being said he continued to hug me and do the watch. But what I did surprised him.

I slowly turned and moved a little away from him but still in his embrace. Both of our eyes met each other.

My feet tip toed and I wrapped my arms around his neck. I placed my lips on his and slowly let my emotions do its thing and gave him a soft kiss.

Zoro tightened the hug pulling me closer to him and started to deepen the kiss. After a few minutes which felt like an hour, our lips parted.

We both couldn't believe our own eyes that this was actually happening. We couldn't hold back our smiles. We both were smiling like idiots while our eyes were having conversation of its own.

His hands cupped my face and pulled in for another kiss.

'I'm your mess now, y/n......'
