Pumasok sila Dave at Stephanie sa loob ng bahay na parang dito sila naka tira. Sumunod ako sakanila papuntang kusina at doon bumungad si mama na may hinihiwang pakwan na paburito ko.

"Oh! Yes!!! Akin yung malaki" I said, feeling excited as I pull the chair infront of the table.

Stephanie and Dave then, grabbed the chair next to me at the same time. Busy ako sa pag reserve nung malaking parte ng pakwan nang bigla nanaman silang nag away.

"Nauna ako dito! Napaka papansin mo!" Stephanie spat. I rolled my eyes and just continued munching on my watermelon.

"Ang bobo mo dito naman talaga ako lagi pumi-pwesto noon pa man" rebat naman ni Dave sa pinsan nya.

I was busy eating, when my elder sister showed up in the kitchen. "Oh, ano nanaman pinag aawayan nyong mag pinsan ha?" She said, tapos kumuha ng piraso ng pakwan sa lamesa.

"Si Dave kasi crush si Jea, dati ko pa yan napapansin tabi ng tabi kay Jea, kahit nung nag lalaro kami ng patintero mismong tsenelas nya tinatabi sa tsenelas ni Jea! Gusto lagi katabi parang tanga!" Walang hiyang sigaw ni Stephanie.

I choked on the seeds from the watermelon. Napuno ng halakhak nila mama at ate yung buong kusina. I was looking so confused. Dave looked so angry, namumula ang mata at mukha, but he didn't say a thing.

What the...? But I thought he was gay?

"Jusmio, hijo mag g-grade 7 palang kayo, yan na agad inaatupag nyo" mom said between her laughter.

Annoyed and confused, I just stayed there looking at him with confusion. Pinanindigan nya pa at tumabi saakin. While my sister and mom were busy interviewing the noisy Stephanie.

I couldn't stand the silence between me and Dave so I went out the house to play. I fixed the jumping rope, and cans infront of the garage, ready to forget the nonsense talk inside the house.

Nang lumabas bigla si Dave looking so awkward. I removed my flipflops as I get ready for playing outside the house.

Di hamak na sobrang dugyot pa namin. Mahilig mag laro sa ilalim ng araw at mahilig pa mag habol-habulan.

Noon pa man bago ko pa makilala ang mag pinsan ay aminadong kulang ako sa pag dama ng mga bagay bagay sa aking paligid. Matulin ako mag salita at bihira'y hindi makontrol ang mga sinasabi. Medyo maka-sarili at spoiled.

I saw Dave fixing his flipflops beside mine. I quickly went near him and kicked his flipflops away from mine.

He looked at me angrily. However, he fixed it again beside my flipflops. "Ano bang problema mo?" He asked.

"You annoy me" I said full of annoyance.

And that is how my country side childhood life ended. I'm not actually from this municipality, I originally live from the neighboring one. However, I spent my childhood in this small town because of my sick grandma.

Well from what happened, I was never really bothered with what I did. Although I know it is wrong. But I couldn't hide my true reactions or emotions.

That was the first time I broke someone's heart, really badly...
