The others rushed after Felix, only stopping when he screamed in pain. Chan and Hyunjin watched with terrified faces as Felix convulsed in the water. They both took off running towards the water, when suddenly the impossible happened.

Felix started to float out of the water. He'd stopped screaming, but now he was whispering words. They couldn't hear it, but it didn't look like he was speaking in any language they knew. Hyunjin and Chan stopped on the shore of the lake, staring up at Felix with twin looks of disbelief on their faces.

"Jinnie, what-" Chan said, glancing between Hyunjin's shocked face and Felix's glowing body. The elytrian was glowing. There were multiple shocked gasps behind them, but neither of them could look away from Felix.

"I thought- I thought he couldn't-" Hyunjin spluttered, staring in disbelief.

Felix started to speak louder, chanting the same phrase in an unknown language over and over. "On¯ælan. Yfel tâwian on¯ælan. Yfel heaðorian onemn fyrngêara on¯ælan."

For a split second, Felix flickered and then seemed to glow even brighter. A second later, he fell into the water. Chan didn't hesitate to rush into the water, while Hyunjin stood still on the shore, unable to comprehend what had just happened. "Felix!" Chan shouted as he waded over to where Felix had fallen. He grabbed the werewolf and held him above the water. Felix was completely unconscious and still glowing. Up close, it was so bright that Chan's eyes had a hard time adjusting. Still, he dragged Felix out of the water to the shore, where the rest of the crew gathered around the glowing boy.

"What... how the hell is he glowing?!" Seungmin cried out, kneeling down next to his twin.

Neither Chan or Hyunjin, the only people who previously knew about Felix's powers, said anything, too shocked by the events, and no one else had any idea what was going on. "Felix, wake up." Minho urged, shaking the elytrian slightly. When that didn't work, Minho shook Felix harder.

When Felix didn't wake up, Jeongin stepped forward. He growled and shouted, "Wake up, goddamnit!" and promptly slapped Felix across the face. There were shocked gasps as Felix jolted awake, staring ahead with wide eyes. Everyone watched with bated breath as Felix just sat there.

"Ow! What the hell was that for?!" He shouted, and the crew all let out a simultaneous breath of relief. Felix rubbed his cheek soothingly, glaring at Jeongin as if he instinctively knew it was his younger brother who slapped him.

Felix then looked down at his hands and yelped. "I'm glowing again! Chan, why am I glowing again?!"

Chan kneeled next to Felix, his face twisted with a mix of anger and worry. "Lix, why'd you do that? Why'd you run like that?"

Felix's eyes widened and he looked into Chan's eyes with a shocked look on his face. The werewolf's eyes filled with tears. "I- I heard Mom. She called my name."

From behind Lucky and Jeongin, Hinata gasped. The Elderthorn siblings were staring at their oldest sibling in disbelief and Astraea slapped a hand over her mouth. Minho looked at Felix like he was crazy. "You... you heard Mom? And now you're glowing. Fuck."

Astraea let out a strangled noise behind her hand. "You said again! What the hell does that mean?"

Hyunjin sighed. "This isn't the first time he's glowed like this." He answered. Everyone in the crew turned to look at him, bewildered.

Chan nodded. "The first time was in the Temple of Artemis when we found a journal that belonged to someone named Noriana Honorrock. He picked up the journal, all the lights went out, and he started glowing like this. He's a nightlight." The vampire gestured to the elytrian as he spoke, and Felix just chuckled and rubbed the nape of his neck with red cheeks and a sheepish look on his face.
