Before she could I raised my hand shooting a blast of cold magic at her feet freezing her in place.
I walked over to her so that I was standing in front of her.
"Tina, tell me the truth, what is wrong?" I asked sternly.
"I have strict orders not to tell you" Tina said shaking her head from side to side.
"From who?" I growled out getting a bit frustrated.
"Lord Rin" came her scared sqeaky response.
"I am just as high and powerful here as my brother so spit it out" I ordered coldly.
"Duke Alpin, Duchess Fiona, and Lord Rin left for the Imperial palace just a few hours ago" Tina blurted out.
"WHAT! Why didn't they tell me?" I demanded furiously.
"Because they assume its a trap to kill them, thats why they left you here so there was at least one heir left to take care of the Northern Duchy" Tina admitted tears streaming down her face.
I pushed past Tina unfreezing her as I went past.
I ran down the steps to the big front doors. I pushed them open to see a knight standing there.
"Bring me my horse" I yelled. "Yes, Lady Crystal" came his reply as he dashed off to get me my horse.
A few seconds later he returned with my horse beside him.
I hopped on bareback. "Don't fail me now Streak" I said to my horse as I urged him into a run.
I rode for a long time until the Imperial palace started to come into view.
When we reached it I got off Streak, and ran towards the doors.
When I reached them I was stopped by two knights guarding the doors.
"Let me through" I said as I stood in front of them holding my swollen belly.....
