The three sped to a wooden bridge with Jay following. "Hurry up! We're halfway up!" Cole said, turning around to see that they were cornered. "Ssssee? You can't get away that easssily!" Jay gave an evil smile. "We've been in situations like this a hundred times. Quick, who's got an idea?" Kai asked. "I say we fight!" Cole said. "With what? We don't have our powers! Uh, what about you, Zane? What do your computers say?" Kai asked. "I got us into this mess, I know how to get us out." he said. At last, the bridge broke. "Grab a plank! Ninja go!" They Spinjitzu'd their way up somehow and kind of slid down, Unfortunately, Jay followed. "We're falling!" Kai yelled. "Use your hood as a parachute!" Zane said, and the four dropped down.
The four went running to the camp. "Hey, they found the falcon." Julien pointed out. "Uh okay? Why are they running from Jay?" Lloyd asked. "Prepare for battle. We've got company." Zane said. "You were spotted? By one? Two?" Wu asked. Cole dodged Jay's attack, he's gotten faster. "How about ... all of them?" Kai said. "Did you locate the Temple of Light? Misako asked. "It's at the top of a mountain. I hope those vehicles are ready, because we can sure use them now." Jay targeted Cole's gut and punched, Cole stumbled back and felt comfortable in the wind. "Guess you're gonna have to figure this baby out in the fly." Julien said.
Cole landed a kick on Jay's chest and ran to the driver's seat. "We've also packed another surprise in back. Perhaps it could be of use." Nya said. Jay's anger melted, and froze to see Nya. For a moment, just that one little moment, Jay was at ease. Then his mind turned back into getting his rights. "You'll have to go too, be safe." Misako said. "We will." Lloyd assured her and jumped on the car. Jay lunged at the Sensei, "Whatever you -uh!- do, do not stop until you get to the temple of Light. Our survival depends on it." Misako attacked Jay and he flew backwards. "This time, we'll stick to the plan." Kai said. "Good luck, Ninja. We will hold Jay back." Wu said.
The Earth driller (I assumed) sped to the direction of the mountain, which they knew where it was. Jay hopped on the Stone Warriors' vehicle, "ATTACK!" Kozu yelled as they went on to play catch. "You do know how to steer this thing, don't you?" Lloyd called as they sped through some sand hills. Cole turned the "Steering wheel" and sped up again in the sight of the vehicles catching up. Two of the vehicles went in front of the car to block their path, but Cole simply turned and sped on a rock which caused them to fly and land down on the "Nose" of the car. The Ninja of Earth pulled a lever and the driller dug into the dirt and dug out to avoid the vehicles. At last, they stopped at the edge of a mountain.
"Well, that's about how far this baby will go. We'll have to do the rest on our own." Cole said. "But we'll never make it up the mountain before they arrive." Lloyd looked up. "Well, then let's see what my sister packed." Kai jumped out and pressed a button that's behind the car. It was a red rectangular stuff that popped out and rose. It was a red mech! "Oh, I love my sis!" Kai exclaimed. The vehicles of the Stone Army have arrived with Jay looking bluer than ever. "He's getting into the shape of a Hypnobrai." Zane noticed Lloyd and Cole staring at their friend. "Leave this to me." Kai was already in his red mech. He turned around and flew to where the first vehicle was.
"Hey buddy, you just had to be first." Kai said to the first vehicle. "And guess what you win?" he said, picking it up. "A little of this!" he threw the vehicle out like spinjitzuing enemies out. Needless to say, it flew very, very far. "Who's next?" Kai asked. He stepped backwards and ran forwards, pounded the ground like Cole would do in, uh, further seasons. A vehicle was on fire and the others were down, except one, where Jay and Kozu were at. The vehicle put out the fire, watching Kai's mech walk further. Another round of vehicles sped there, commanded to get the Ninja.
"These guys just won't stop." Cole complained. The three were ready to fight, until Kai yelled, "Climb on!" They climbed on the mech and it went for the mountain. Somehow, the vehicles followed them. "One of these days, we're gonna have to fight." Cole said. "We're not climbing fast enough!" Zane called. A warrior jumped and grabbed the mech's foot, and the mech beeped annoyingly. Kai kicked off the warrior and kept climbing. "Ugh! Not now, Jay!" Kai heard Cole yell. Jay was on board. His fist made its way to Lloyd's back. Lloyd was gonna use his powers, but Zane stopped him, "He's under the Overlord's spell!" Lloyd sighed, and ducked his attacks. Kai knew they were still advancing, "Activate hook!" he yelled, and a hook sprung out of the mech's hand.
They flew onto the mountaintop, and successfully got rid of Jay. "Oh! We made it to the top!" Lloyd smiled. "But where's the Temple of Light?" Kai asked. "Are you sure you used the medallion right?" Lloyd questioned. "Of course I used it right. It said it should be right here." Kai said. "Well until we find it, we've got to find a way to slow them down." Cole said. Vehicles started to drive up to where they were standing. Kai pounded the mountain, but they still came. He blasted the rocks which fell on the warriors. "That should buy us a little time." he said. The Ninja started climbing, Lloyd saw some light shining from above. "Huh!" He climbed further and reached a platform. "The Temple of Light!" he said. Soon, they made their way into the temple. On the massive wall, was a painting of a car.
"Guys, check this out!" Cole pointed, "It's us." On the other walls, were them facing the Great Devourer and running to the Destiny's Bounty. "Impossible, it's everything we've ever done." "Finding the Bounty, facing the Devourer. Even right now." Cole pointed to a wall, featuring the exact same thing they were doing. "How could it all be here?" Zane wondered. "Destiny." Lloyd said. On another piece of wall, there was four Ninja outside a circle and a Ninja in the middle. "I think I know what we need to do." Lloyd said. Outside the temple, the Stone Army was slowly walking there. Lloyd patted the ground, his dragon symbol appeared within the dust. The other three did the same. "Okay, now what?" Lloyd asked.
They heard the warriors shouting. "Why does everything have to be so hard?" Cole asked. 'For once the Green Ninja finds the instrument of peace, he will strike it and know the power of the Ultimate Spinjitzu Master.' Lloyd remembered his mother saying. "The bell! It's an instrument!" Lloyd pointed upwards. "You guys ready for this?" he asked. "Bring it!" Cole said. Lloyd looked up, and charged to kick the bell. Unlike anyone thought, he fell down and landed hard. "Ow." he said. "Lloyd! You okay?" Kai asked. Then, the Stone warriors came to attack. Jay looked at the scene, puzzled. 'My tribe is within the Ninja, that's who I am. And even I'm a Serpentine now, I don't care about that tribe!' this voice, it was the same voice he has now. But it seems to help him... remember something.
All he remembers now was this hollow memory of who he trusts most abandoning him. 'They will never abandon me! After all these adventures, why should I believe a word you say?!' Jay seemed to hear a voice, it was from a teenager, "One more push, one more push to do this." The Serpentine thought about it, what push? 'My true potential!' his voice said. Jay searched deep into his heart, what happened? 'I am a Serpentine, I don't know why, or how. I just.. when we traveled back in time, I traveled to when I found my true potential, and... I didn't turn back into human. I'm sorry to keep the secret, I just, don't know when to tell you guys that. I was afraid that you would...' Reject me. Fear, that's the only thing that has been holding him back. Jay's thoughts cleared and he fought against a substance of some kind, the embodiment of evil. The Overlord.
"I'm not afraid of you anymore, Overlord. I'm not afraid of anyone rejecting me anymore. And I won't reject myself just because of fear. You can't trick me anymore, neither with this weird hero that I'll end up like or my friends giving up on me. I am who I am. I make my own destiny, and now yours is coming to an end!" Jay said. One last time, he heard the teenager chuckle, not an evil chuckle, just a plain and simple one. "Guess he is like him, right?"
