The forgotten friendship

A new beginning.

*It's been a while since Star had left and it seems as though one of her friends have forgotten about her. The name "Star" doesn't mean anything special to them anymore, sure they kept the thing they gave to Star so they would never forget each other but it seems like the gift doesn't do much for that never forget thing. Now does it? Things just aren't the same and they will never be like before. No matter if they try as hard as they can to make it the same as before. But let's focus on the present now. After all there's no reason to reminisce on the past now is there?*

*Saturn was helping clean up the bar while talking with Chat and Nabla, saying a few jokes and just having friendly conversation. Though Chat asked her a odd question, which was "Do you remember anyone by the name Star, Saturn?", Saturn said no and thought nothing of it... Well until a while later..*

*One day someone "new" came to town, their name was Star. Chat seemed really.... Happy? To see her. Though Saturn didn't understand why, she introduced herself as she usually would but...*

"Heya! Saw you were new around he-" *Saturn starts to say.*

"Saturn..?" *Star cut Saturn off with, surprising Saturn and also kinda creeping her out.*

"Wha- H-How do you know my name? I didn't tell you it-" *Saturn says sounding surprised and a bit creeped out.*

"You don't remember me..?" *Star says quietly.*

"No?- I have literally not met you at all before- What are you talking about?-" *Saturn says still sounding surprised and a bit creeped out.*

*Star stays silent, seeming surprised and seeming almost... tearful.*

"Um- I- I'm gonna go now.." *Saturn says, starting to walk off before Star grabs her arm.*

"Wait! Please, Saturn.. Do you really not recognize me o-or remember me at all..?" *Star says sounding desperate.*

*Saturn pulls her arm away.* "Please leave me alone..." *Saturn says quietly sounding creeped out, nervous, and uncomfortable. Saturn walks away, back to her home, feeling creeped out and uncomfortable from what just happened.*

*Stars eyes start to fill with tears as she watches Saturn walk away, standing there in shock that one of her friends doesn't remember her. Her body shaking slightly and her breathing being fast.*

*Some time later, Star tells Chat that Saturn doesn't remember her. Chat tries to reassure Star that Saturn will remember her in time, and that the two will become close friends like in the past.... Though Chat doesn't really know if that will be the case at all....*

*The next day Saturn goes to help out at the bar as always, making some jokes and having friendly conversations with customers and others.... But Star eventually comes in the bar as well.. Saturn tries her best to be normal, but is still a bit uncomfortable and creeped out with Star. Though at one point because Chat and Nable left the bar because Nable was going to get some more ingredients for the drinks and Chat wanted to help, leaving Star and Saturn alone in the bar.*

(Word count: 524. Word count including occ: 605. I'm so sorry for leaving this on a cliffhanger, but I feel the need to get this part out so bad. So, you will have to deal with it for now until I find how I want to continue this, and the writing is some older writing from me. Also, yes, I'm probably gonna refer to bartender of undying star as a she for this story unless Star wants me to change it.)
