NEW ROMANTICS (tv) - TAYLOR SWIFT
"we're too busy dancing, to get knocked off our feet"

"No, Pansy, you're putting it on the wrong way!" Rory exclaimed.

"How else am I supposed to put it on?"

"Like this, idiot."

Rory and Pansy were getting ready for Halloween in their bathroom and she was struggling to get the tight Black Widow suit on. Rory already had her costume on but she still needed to do her hair. Wanda had curly / wavy hair so all Rory needed to do was curl hers.

After a long fifteen minutes of struggling, Pansy had finally managed to get the suit on. "Thank Merlin." she sighed with relief.

The both of them burst into laughter. Rory passed Pansy her ginger wig. She couldn't be bothered to straighten her hair so she decided to just go with a wig. Plus, she had brown hair & Natasha was a ginger.

Rory was going for Wanda's look in the 'X-men: The trial of Magneto #4.' Her and Cedric used to go to their local muggle library with their Grandfather when they were younger and she was obsessed with the Marvel comics in the kids section. She would save up all of her library credits to borrow one of them each week. Most of them were Scarlet Witch ones— she had always been Rory's favourite.

She had pink tights and long sleeve top in the same colour with a red bodysuit over the top. She had long red boots and a large headpiece (which she made herself) to put on after she had done her hair. Rory was probably the only one that put in this much effort for a stupid Halloween costume out of the group. Knowing Mattheo, he would probably just turn up in purple shorts & call it a night.

Rory placed the needle down on her new 'ABBA' record 'Arrival' and turned the volume down slightly. Rory enjoyed having background music- it helped her focus on things. She grew up listening to 70's & 80's music (probably why it was still her favourite genre). Her "mum" almost always had music playing around the house. She absolutely adored The Smiths & Queen. Her and Rory used to belt our lungs out to 'Bohemian Rhapsody' whilst baking cookies for Cedric & Amos.

After Rory and Pansy had finished doing their hair, they did some final touch-ups. Rory had put a little bit of pinky-red eyeshadow on but not an excessive amount. Theo would probably make fun of her if she even attempted proper makeup. Her and Pansy took a few pictures on her polaroid camera- passed down from Victoria. She showed Rory some of her old pictures with her friends. Some of them, Rory realised now, were with her dads. She wanted to show Harry those pictures one day- there were loads of James & Lily.

"We look so good." Pansy smirked.

Rory laughed, "I know right."

"Okay, come on, let's go crush this sweet hunt." She grabbed Rory's hand and they laughed as they left their dorm.

The common room was decorated with spooky decorations— cobwebs (which were usually there anyways) in every corner, floating pumpkins, fake spiders charmed to move as if they were crawling across the walls. There were no lights— just the few dimly lit candles to add to the creepy atmosphere. The girls had agreed to meet the boys in the great hall— where the hunt began.

Usually, the ghosts played a big part of the sweet hunts, especially Peeves. They popped out of corners and scared the students— Rory found it absolutely hilarious when the boys screamed like little girls.

Her and Pansy walked through the dark halls— which ghosts were bound to pop out of. Pansy screamed and held Rory's arm as Peeves swooped past the two of them. Rory laughed at her reaction and she slapped her. "It's not funny, Rory, he scared the living daylight out of me!" Pansy said, her other hand on her heart.
