Birthday Eve

(Later that night from previous chapter)
Scotty's Pov.
As the night continued, I was getting more nervous..
I didn't want to do it.. but at the same time, I did.. I guess I'm just paranoid that what happened with Phillips.. will happen again..
No. Don't think like that! Benny would never do anything like that.. Right?
Surely he wouldn't.
"Babe?" I heard, interrupting my thoughts.
I snapped back to reality, to see Benny in front of me. Confused and concerned. I didn't realize I had tears down my cheeks..
"Mi amor? Are you okay? What's wrong?" Benny asked sitting next to me on our bed.
He tried to rub my back, but I flinched. And he flinched back.
I looked him in the eyes, wide eyed.
It looked like his heart broke..

Benny's Pov
My heart broke.. he flinched when I tried to touch him..?
He looked at me, wide eyed.
Then my heart broke even more when I realized why he was crying, and flinching..
Because of what Phillips did...
I tried to hold his hand, and he flinched again..
"Baby.. I'm not gonna hurt you.. I would never do such a thing," I said softly, tears forming in my eyes.
The next time I see Phillips. He will be dead.
Scotty took a deep breath, and wiped his eyes. He looked at me.
"I-Im sorry.." he said.
"Baby, no. It's okay. I know you're scared, and I know you're traumatized.. I understand that you feel like it's going to happen again tomorrow night.. But you gotta realize that I will never hurt you.. I won't ever hurt you, in any way. I'm the one who's gonna protect you from everything.. I promise you'll never have to be alone with him again." I said softly. I had tears in my eyes. Everyday, I regret not going with him to the drug store. If I went with him, then that wouldn't have happened..

He hugged me, I hugged him back. He sat on my lap, and I rubbed his back and told him that I'd never leave, I'd never hurt him, and that I love him. He calmed down. It was 8:20pm. We went downstairs to eat dinner. When we finished that, we came back upstairs to brush our teeth, and get to bed.

It was now 9:30. My lover and I laid down. He laid on my chest. I played with his hair, while whispering all the things I love about him, until he fell asleep.
Soon after, I feel asleep.

(The Next Morning)
Benny's Pov.
As I opened my eyes, I realized that it was Friday, August 28th. My lovers birthday. I quickly, but quietly got up to look at the time, 7:00 o'clock, on the dot.
I decided to get up and take a quick shower.
I quietly grabbed clothes and headed to the bathroom. I grabbed a towel and placed it on the counter. I turned on the water, and began to strip. I threw the clothes I was wearing into the hamper, and got in the shower.
I ran my fingers through my hair as the water ran down my body.
I washed and conditioned my hair. Then rinsed it. I washed my body then rinsed.
After a moment, I turned off the shower, and stepped out onto the bath mat. Grabbing my towel, I dried my body. I set the towel down, and got dressed. I put on my boxers, then my jeans. And then I put my shirt on. I looked at myself in the slightly foggy mirror and thought. Wow.. tonight is the night he'll be fully mine.. he'll be mine.
I left the bathroom to go downstairs. I saw my mom making breakfast.
"Hey momma," I said,
"Hi Benny, is Scotty awake yet?" She asked.
"Uhh.. no I don't think so, I just took a shower. And he was still asleep when I woke up."
"Well, go see if he is or not, breakfast is almost done." She said as she turned back to the stove.
I went back upstairs to my room to see if he was awake. I made my way down the hallway. I walked in my room to see him still sleeping. I looked over at the clock, 7:49am.
I decided to wake him up
"Baby, wake up" I said softly with a smile. I shook him gently.
He opened his eyes,a d looked at me.
"Good morning mi amor, happy birthday!" I said with a smile, he smiled and sat up.
I gave him a kiss, and held his hand.
"Baby, get dressed and ready, breakfast is almost done. Then we gotta go to the sandlot"
He nodded and got up. He was wearing one of my t shirts, he looked so cute. I waited for him to get dressed. He wore a blue pair of jeans, and a light blue shirt with dark blue around the collar. He put on his very dirty converse, that were supposed to be white.
He was just about to go downstairs, when I noticed his hair.
"Mi amor, come here" i said with a laugh.
He walked over to me confused.
"Let me fix your hair love" I said quietly. I did as I said, and fixed his hair. He giggled.
When I was done, I got down to his level, and gave him a kiss.
"Thank you baby," he said with a giggle.
"You're welcome mi amor, now come on. Breakfast should be done."
We went downstairs to see my mom putting our plates on the table, in our usual spots. When she saw Scotty she gave a big smile.
"Happy birthday Scotty!" She said,
"Aw, thank you!" He replied with a smile.
We sat down and began to eat breakfast. My dad was still in his business trip, but he said he'd make it up to Scotty.

(Time skip to 4:30p.m)
Scotty's Pov.
Since it was my birthday, I got to bat all day.
With every swing, and every hit. Came a proud Benny. He was always so proud and happy when I'd make a home run, or even hit the ball.
Benny was up for pitch. He got into position, and so did I. He threw the ball at my bat. I swung the bat, and made a home run, again. I threw the bat, and ran the bases. 1st base, 2nd base, 3rd base, and home. Benny was so proud, because that was the fastest I've ran a home run!
Benny ran up to me.
"Mi amor! That's the fastest home run you've ever done!" He said, excited.
We all decided to call it a day and sit on the benches talking and discussing when we should go back to Benny's house for the party.
Benny was talking to Kenny.

Benny's Pov.
"So, you're gonna get it on with him tonight or what?" Kenny asked me, obviously curious.
"Yeah man, but I'm not gonna force him and bug him if he doesn't want to. You know what I mean?" I said.
"Yeah, I was just wondering."
"But, if it's gonna be our first time, he's obviously gonna moan like crazy. And I don't know how my mom's gonna like it. I mean- she knows we're gonna do it. But I don't know if she's gonna be in the house tonight." I explained.
"Ohh, ok. Hopefully she leaves so he doesn't have to struggle with holding back." He said with a laugh.
"Yeah,"
We decided to head back to the house for the party.

I could tell Scotty was nervous.. but also, you could tell he was excited.
