"Why, hello Felicity." Sam said with a grin on his face. He wore leather all around with big biker boots. He stared at me with his real eye because his other was glass. "Hi Uncle Sam." I tried saying normally. " You have grown since ive seen you." he said with a wheeze. He wheezed alot when he talked but, thats probobly cause hes old. " Well come on now. We best be going." he said. He came over and helped me with my bags. I took my shoulder bag and  went over out the door with him. I kept my distance thinking he would start strangling me any minute. I never let my guard down with people like Sam. We walked over to the truck at the end of the parking lot. It was old, rusty, and had a shattered windshield.

I sat on the tattered, cold, leather seat in the front seat. I clutched on to the picture of my mom tightly. It was very quiet in the truck. The radio station was turned on but all I heard was static. The radio in here must be broken. His glass eye was going crazy yet his real one kept steady on the road. I looked out the window and saw nothing but forest. It was in the middle of nowhere. New Mexico was atleast somewhere with me and my mom. Then i saw a small little sign. WELCOME TO STAIGHTYEN it said. Funny name for a town... On the sign was a picture of a grizzley bear near a tree. We went down a dirt road and there it was. A giant, wooden, dark mansion. " Here we are" said Uncle Sam. "13 GateTwane Lane"
