In the morning, my alarm clock goes off. It's my first day of school, and to be honest, I'd rather go back to bed. I groan, get up, and get dressed in black pants and a black tank top. At school, I feel out of place because I don't really know anything about this world. I get to school and head to my first class. The teacher greets me and introduces me to the class. I sit by a girl and a boy. I pay attention and learn as much as I can. Soon school ends. I realized that I learned a lot and made a few friends, all in one day.
"Hey Emily, wanna go shopping with us?" Ashley, one of my new friends ask.
"Sure, I'd love to" I say, smiling.
"Sweet, let's go" Rebecca says, another one of my new friends.
We walk to the mall. I find a cute blue dress that goes just above the knees and has ruffles at the bottom.
"Emily, you look so cute in that. Boys will go crazy once they see you," Ashley says.
I laugh.
"We will see about that one," I say.
We all start laughing. I get skirts, cute shirts, and knee length dresses.
We get to my house. Ashley stares at the house.
                     "You live here?" she asks.
"10 years ago a little girl died and she lived here." Rebecca says.
"I know" I say, hiding the sadness in my eyes.
"That poor little girl. Her name was Emily, which is funny because your name is Emily." Rebecca says.
"I remember her from Pre-school. She was super kind and always lightened up the mood in the class." Ashley says.
I smile knowing people liked me back then.
"Do you guys believe in ghosts, angels or fallen angels?" I ask.
"I believe in ghosts and angels, but what's a fallen angel?" Rebecca asks.
No one really knows about fallen angels because it rarely happens.
"They are angels who are stripped of there wings and banned from Heaven." I explain.
"Where did you hear that?" Ashley asks.
"Um..it was a myth where I used to live," I say quickly.
"That's a weird myth, but if angels are real, then fallen angels must be real too," Rebecca says.
"But why ban angels from Heaven. That seems unfair," Ashley says.
"Probably because they disobeyed the laws of heaven," I say.
"That makes sense, but why do that? That's horrible," Rebecca says.
"Life isn't fair," I say, deeply thinking.  "Your free to come in." I open the door and we all walk in. There are pictures of Mark and I on the fireplace mantel.
                      "Who is that?" Rebecca asks.
                      "He was my friend."
They look at her.
                      "Was?" one of them asked.
"I lost contact with him.." I say.
They don't ask anymore questions and instead look around. We soon settle down and do our homework. Around 7:30, Rebecca and and Ashley go home. I make myself dinner, eat slowly, take a shower and head to bed. After this very long day of learning and answering questions vaguely, I pass out instantly.
