🫦third person POV🫦

"You will?" Eric asks. He's on the phone with a girl. "Yeah, of course." the girl answers "Okay great!" he says "I'm so excited." the girl adds "Yeah, me too." Eric is grinning ear to ear. "I'll meet you there at [insert time]." she says "All righty." Eric says "See you then." she says "okay." he says "Bye." she says "Bye." he hangs up.

He jumps up and does a split mid-air, landing back on his feet. "YES!" Cory walks in "YES!" Cory yells "PHILLIES WON, 8-3." "I'm going out with Heather Rolston." Eric says. They highfive but hold onto eachothers hands. Then let go "You know what that means?" Cory asks "It means every guy in the 10th grade wants to be me." Eric answers while rubbing his hands together.

Eric sits on Cory's bed "It means if they win friday night they're in the playoffs!" Cory beams "Oh, look Cory, we gotta talk about something." Eric says. Cory walks away looking off into the distance "That means the game we're going to is the most important day of the year!" "Look, Cory, my date with Heather is Friday." Eric says. He feels bad for letting Cory down.

"Now, look, I got a slight case of detention from Feeny. But I'll just meet you at the bus...WHAT?!" Cory says in disbeilf, "Its the only night she was availiable." Eric explains "You're not going to the game?" Cory asks "Thats terrible." "Actually Cory it uh...gets worse." Eric says and puts his hand on Cory's shoulder "She's going to the game with us...?" Cory asks hopefully "You're really close." Eric shakes Cory, "She and I are going to the game?" Cory asks, Eric stands up "Come on, Cory, It's my first date with her." Eric says "It's really important to me."

Cory stands up too "But Eric, going to the Phillie's game is like our special thing." "Cory, I'm trying to get a special thing going with Heather." Eric whispers loudly and leans close to Cory "Now look, you can be happy for me and accept this like a mature guy or you can-" "DAD!" Cory yells and runs downstairs "-Overreact" Eric shakes his head and chases after his brother.

"Dad!" Cory says "Just the kid I want to see." their mom, Amy says as Cory runs down the stairs "Mom we have a major problem." Cory says and walks into the livingroom that is at the bottom of the stairs. Amy sits on a chair by the stairs, her husband, Alan and their daughter Morgan sit on the couch. "You have detention with Mr. Feeny." Amy states. Cory stands next to his father and without turning around to look at his mother he asks "How could you possibly know that?" Alan stares at Cory.

Cory then turns around, Amy stands up "He stuck his head over the fence and told me while I was bringing in the grocerys." Amy says while walking over to him, she stops infront of him and crosses her arms. Cory looks down at his father and points to him "I want to move." he says "Why did you get detention?" Alan asks "You know you're missing the bigger picture, dad." Cory says "You bought a house next to my teacher. I want to move now. Get the guy with the gold jacket. I'll be in the car." Cory walks over to the door.

Before Cory can open it Alan repeats his question "Why did you get detention?" "Apparently he'd rather listen to the baseball game on the radio then try to understand the emotional content of Romeo and Juliet." While Amy says this Alan looks at her but Amy continues to look at Cory. Cory walks back over to the couch "Mom, I'm a kid. I don't understand the emotional content of Full House." Cory says.

Morgan rases her hand and says "I do!" then goes back to playing with her doll. Eric finally comes back down the stairs "Besides I don't know why you're dumping on me! I'm not the one who sold out my only brother for some girl." Cory says while walking over to Eric, Amy walks over to him excitedly "Eric, she said yes!" Amy says "Yup." Eric says "Congratulations." Amy says, "You were in on this?!" Cory asks "Come on Cory, don't you think you're making a big deal about this game?" Eric asks "I don't care about the game. I don't care about the tickets! I wouldn't take them if you offered them to me." Cory says.

Eric reaches into his back pocket "All right look, I'll just take Heather somewheres else. Here you want the tickets?" Eric hands Cory the tickets "Yeah!" Cory says and reachs out to take them, Eric pulls his hand away "Get real!" Eric walks off to the kitchen while laughing mockingly.

Eric waits for her, she walks over to him "Hi." Heather says "Hi, you look great." Eric says "Oh, thank you!" Heather says "Ready to go in?" "Yeah" Eric says. They walk into whereever the bleachers are. They find a seat, Heather sits down, Eric stumbles over a few chairs before sitting down. Heather laughs quietly and smiles at him.

Cory sits on his bed playing a video game "DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE!" he yells at the screen. Eric walks in, Cory points the fake gun at Eric "DIE!" he points it back to the TV "DIE!" "You missed the puppy thing in the corner." Eric says "DIE!" Cory says "Theres only one you have to neuter." Eric jokes.

"5-3 Phillies are in the playoffs." Cory says "Yeah, I heard." Eric says "What do you mean you heard? You were there." Cory asks "I really wasn't paying much attention to the game, Cory." Eric says "Why not? It was a great game." Cory says "It was not, however a great date." Eric says "You had a bad date?" Cory asks.

Eric smiles "No I had a great date. Heather was beautiful. She knew what to say, she knew what to do." Eric's smile drops "Unfortunitly, her date spilled food, tripped over chairs, and had nothing interesting to say for nine innings."

"Eric, you're much too cool for some girl." Cory reasures him "News flash! I'm not cool." Eric stands up "You don't know what you're talking about." Eric sits in a chair behind a desk located on the opposite side of the room then the beds "Okay, you're not cool. And now you know better then to go to a game without your broher." Cory says, Eric nods "You're right." Eric says "I am?" Cory questions "Yeah, that was my first and last date with Heather, I never wanna see her again." Eric says "Good." Cory says, and he grabs the fake gun.

After a few seconds of playing the game he looks back at Eric "You don't mean that." "Yes, I do." Eric says, Cory grabs Eric's phone and stands up. He walks over to Eric and hands the phone to him "Here." Cory says "Whats this?" Eric asks "Call her." Cory says "Who?" Eric asks "WhO?" Cory mocks "Heather, my nemesis! Call her." "Why?" Eric asks "'Cause you're sitting there drooling and pathetic, and I know somewhere inside is my cool brother. And I'm not gonna get him back unless you call her." Cory explains "Look, I'm not calling her." Eric sets the phone on the desk "I sat there all night and didn't say anything. What could I say now?" Cory gives Eric the phone again "Take her to a movie. There you're not suppose to sit and not say anything. A movie is perfect for your skill level." Cory says and walks away "Why do you want me to call her?" Eric asks "I'm told love is worth it." Cory says. Cory shrugs twice while leaving the room.

Eric calls her "Hey, Heather." "Hi." Heather says "I was wondering if you'd wanna go to a movie at some point?" Eric asks "Oh...sure, why not?" Eric smiles "Great when are you free?"

A/N: This takes place around now because thats when I grew up so thats what I know most about. Also I don't know anything about baseball so the date is really short. I'll try to do more in the future xx.
