Chapter 4 - First Steps
Ariiayla's POV
As I opened my eyes, my pounding head came into focus and it was not nice at all. Jesus, what happened last night? Groaning I sat up and found to be in 'my room in my brother's house' alone.
"Tayte" I called, squinting my eyes, my head banging, "Keane?" Keane, shit, Keane. I heard footsteps which sounded like a herd of elephants were coming towards me, I groaned,
"Morning baby girl, how are you feeling?" Tayte asked, sitting on the edge of the bed,
"Like I've done something stupid. My head is screaming at me and Urgh, I feel so bad"
"You kind of deserve it" He said,
"No doubt I do" I muttered, "How's Keane?"
"He's...he's okay"
"I remember pushing him over...but, I didn't mean too. Jeez, I'm such an idiot. I don't even remember how we got hold of any drink. Damn I messed up"
"Yeah, you did"
"Can I see Keane?"
"Um...well, I don't think that's the best idea, just yet"
"Oh...is he...is he really mad at me?"
"No, no...he's not mad. Just not feeling himself yet"
"Tayte, are you coming with us?" I heard Noah call.
"Coming where? Are you all going out?"
"I'll be back in a minute, get changed okay" I nodded and he left the room.
...
Tayte's POV
"Arii's coming too, she's just getting changed" I said,
"I guess we should go as a family" Keane said, "How is she?"
"Paying for last night and really worried that you're mad at her"
"Are you mad at her?" Noah asked,
"I'm angry because she drank underage and came home wasted, I'm not angry that she hurt me. Because I know she didn't mean too"
"How are you feeling?" Angelo asked,
"Pain free for about 5 minutes" He replied,
"We'll meet you in the car, I'll go get Arii" I said, everyone nodded and headed out. I ran back up the stairs, knowing that Keane really was just worried about Arii and not mad, though trying to get that into Arii's head was going to be the hardest, Arii was just grabbing her bag as I walked in,
"Promise Keane isn't mad at you" I told her,
"He has every right too, what about everyone else?"
"Arii, baby girl...no one is mad at you, just angry because of the alcohol fiasco"
"I doubt that...but..."
