I have other stories in mind for Bloom x Sebastian, both in Italian and English, and I look forward to publish them here. For now, I'm mostly indecisive about this ship's name: "Bloomastian" or "Bloobastian"? Which one do you think sounds better for them?

This story has not been beta read, It's just me and my eyes. I tried to translate this as best as I could and still deliver the intention behind every word in the original fanfiction (the one in Italian).

I TRUST(ED) YOU

«If you join me, you could have all the answers you always looked for, Bloom».

She could feel his warm breath on her cheek. As a consequence of the action, threads of copper hair brushed her reddened skin—a result of her agitation. Thinking he had done that purposely didn't sound like an absurdity, not after having discovered all of the manipulations that both her and all of Alfea had fallen victim to.

Sebastian had fooled her.

She had trusted him, she had trusted him since the very first moment she met him, when he smiled at her, throwing silly jokes around to ease the tension.

It seemed like his true face was totally different.

«All this time...» she squeezed her fists, too angry to be able to articulate phrases that weren't just a stream of insults.

«I know, Bloom, I know» he only said, as if he read her mind. Then, she remembered that he was actually capable of that, together with the powers that he stole from the other fairies.

«I lied to you. I had to, for my fellow companions, oppressed and killed like animals, guilty of being considered "dangerous"», he took a pause and gave her a bitter chuckle when she, with a quick turn of her head, fixed her eyes on his. Now they were face-to-face.

Playing that card with her meant an easy win. Bloom knew it, but she still couldn't help feeling complete empathy towards the situation in which he described her.

«I thought that you, especially, Bloom, among all others, would have been the one who'd have understood my reasons the best...»

«"Reasons" won't be enough to excuse the murders of innocent fairies!» she couldn't stop herself from screaming in his face, despite the short physical distance that separated them.

«There were innocent people on my side too!» Sebastian raised his voice, even though he was visibly holding himself back from screaming. He had come closer too, and in the semi-darkness of the shop, she could spot the veins on his neck popping.
