Katia's journey to the Prime Portal was muscle memory. With the ROB device gifted by Bennet she was able to access its signature and get her direct passage back to the Homeland.

Once there, she found it to be in shambles. Overridden by anarchy.

Lionoss soldiers dawning the Tanuian Crest patrol the grounds while Valens soar in the skies above. Evidence of Queen Shaera's true allegiance.

Katia scales the walls of the palace, her mud soaked skin dripping the whole way. A primitive but effective way to mask her scent from either creature.

She crawls through a window landing inside the Council Room. She surveys the area, the mask of darkness no longer a problem.

A quick glamour hides the evidence if her presence and she begins to stalks the halls.

"What have you done?" She says red at the disgraced portraits of the Royal Family. If not torn to shreds then scorned with the demon's sigil.

Footsteps sound around the corner. Katia takes cover.

"How much longer must we wait? My people must feed." A woman's voice says.

"Patience, Your Highness. Our God will call for us soon enough." She recognizes the snake's voice instantly. "Has your daughter been captured?"

"Unfortunately not. My guards are ordered to take her when she is spotted. No doubt searching for me in Raida." Shaera says with a hiss.

"And what of your people, Zigon? Are the armies prepared fir the invasion?"

Invasion? Katia thinks in horror.

"The Lionoss are more than ready. Those humans will nourish the Pride for many moons."

The trio stop just short of Katia's hiding place. Felix steps forward, turning to face his two conspirators.

"We have to postpone our conversation." He states followed by a sickly delighted chuckle.

"Do you jest, High Priest?" The Valen Queen growls. "What brings this?"

Katia feels something wrap around her frame. It squeezes the breath out of her before flinging her body out into the open.

"We have uninvited guests." Felix smiles. "Nice of you to join us, Lady Katia. Tanuos said you would be coming."

"You leech! You've been at his side this whole time haven't you?" She unsheathes her  sword.

"Someone is finally starting to get it." Felix chuckles. "Too bad you'll be dead before it comes to fruition."

Zigon runs at the Huntress with ferocious speed. Claws primed to slash, she dodged just in time.

Shaera comes from the air, digging her claws into Katia's back.

Kayak kicks off of Zigon, crushing Shaera against the wall. She throws her blade landing it into the Lionoss General's knee.

"You betray your own daughter?" Katia growls when Shaera rises to her feet.

"You dare to chastise me after all the blood you've spilt, Hunter?" She slashes into her own chest, collecting the spilled blood in her hands.

Shaera shoots the projectile. Katia narrowly dodges, taking cover behind a pillar.

Frantically she hits the distress button. A vice grip takes hold, crushing the device and smothering bits of it into her skin.

"No one is coming to save you." Zigon growls, ripping her from her cover. She elbows his nose, lifting his body and throwing it across the hall. He slides across the floor, a sickening crack sounding off when he slams against another pillar.
