~1971~
It was that time of year again, letters already delivered, people getting items for the year ahead, and it was now time for the best part of any adventure...the beginning.
Many people where boarding the trains to work, to holiday's to trips, but there were certain students with trolleys with various books and boxes, those weren't too out of place, but what was, were their cages with animals in them ranging from; owls, cats and toads, Those students no sooner had people seen, then they were gone vanished, almost like magic.
Where did they go? well my dear its simple they where waiting for a train, what kind of train? oh well the magical kind, One that takes you to a castle full of wonder and mystery.
Our story begins on this train, with the meeting of five students, ranging from different backgrounds, but somehow found their way to each other in one compartment.
"hello" a weak voice said to the other four nervous, then a much cocky voice responded
"hello, good day it's all the same, why don't we cut to the chase my name is James Potter, and you guys?" a boy with black unruly hair with rounded glasses spoke
"well that was quite the introduction, my names Sirius black" a boy with long black hair, who sat across from James said, then a girl with curly Ginger hair and blue eyes voice spoke up
"my names Jasmine and-" she replied in a whisper and pointed to another girl with straight Ginger hair and green eye's who sat next to her
"I'm Lily Evans, we're twins if you couldn't already tell" they then pointed to another boy, who sat across to them, they looked expectantly, he looked grumpy
"what?" he said almost in a huff and Lilly rolled her eyes
"This is Severus Snape" the boy looked out of the window uninterested, at this conversations stopped, The two girls and Snape started talking to each other
"I can't believe it where going to Hogwarts!" Snape said exhilarated, the twins sister not so much, Jasmine was rubbing her arm and looking around almost in a trance and Lilly half smiled
"You'd better be in Slytherin" Snape said to Lily, trying to brighten up the mood a little
"I just hope we get to look after magical beast" Jasmine said in a whisper to herself, no one heard the poor girl as James spoke up
"Slytherin?" James chimed, in besides introductions be hadn't shown any interest at all in Lilly Snape and Jasmine, he had this air of cockiness about him as he spoke
"Who would want to be in Slytherin? I think I'd leave, wouldn't you?" James asked Sirius who sat there across from him lazily, he didn't smile
"My whole family, have been in Slytherin" he said very detached, James eyes widened
"Blimey, and I thought you seemed all right!" Sirius smirked at James, amused by his reaction
"Maybe I'll break the traditions. Where are you heading if you've got a choice?" James pretended to lift a sword
"Gryffindor where dwell the brave of heart! Like my dad" Sirius looked at him with a mix of amusement and wonder, Snape gave a small disparaging noise at James, who heard it immediately
"Got a problem with that?" he said back with a glare, Lily and Jasmine looked at each other then back to the boys
"No" said Snape but the sneer on his face says otherwise
"if you'd rather be brawny than brain-" Sirius cuts in
"where're you hoping to go, seeing as you're neither?" Sirius smirked finishing his sentence, James roared with laughter clutching his sides, Lily sat up, rather flushed, and looked at James and Sirius with dislike
"come on Severus Jaz, let's find find another compartment" Lily got up dragging her sister along who was frozen
"Oooooo" Sirius and James said to lily, as Snape got up James tried to trip Snape but that failed, and he left but just as he was shutting the door, a voice rang out
"See ya, Snivellus!" and the door slammed shuts
In another compartment sat three people, one was a boy with messy brown hair and hazel eyes, he had bags under his eyes, he was pale. It looked likes he hasn't had a good night of sleep in a while, but the main thing you noticed are scar's that ran across his face they looked like claw marks, he had his arms crossed, it looked like he was trying to blend in with the seat to become invisible.
There was a girl that sat next to him, she had hazel hair that was long, that had a full fringe she was a bit shorter than the messy haired boy, she sat there tapping her foot impatiently, arms by her side she was looking at the floor.
Another boy sat across from her, he had slicked back greased hair, and was quite round around the middle, he sat there alone, the girl and messy haired boy took pity on him, so they sat in the same compartment
"soooooo" the girl said now having enough of the silence, but could think of anything to say
"Names?" the two looked at her
"Okay..I'm Lola Wallace nice to meet ya!" she said and the other two nod, but it was silence again
"now's the part where you introduce Yourselves" she chucked and put her hand forward, the other two blinked
"Oh sorry, I'm Remus Lupin" the boy with messy hair haired said, and shook Lola outstretched hand, Remus and Lola looked to the boy in front of them
"o-oh I'm Pe-Peter Pet-Pettigrew" He stuttered out taking there hands shakily, they both smiled at him
Many people formed friendships and rivalry aboard this train, this was the start of their stories, will friendships last will they fall we will see.
