Chapter 7 - The key that was missing.

Louis' POV

As soon as my eyes lay down on Liam's phone in the hallway, I ran down to Chaney's office as fast as I could and report this. I didn’t know what to do, and right now I could only think of him. How would make a terrible mistake and kidnap a cute innocent puppy like Liam? Yes, I just called Liam a cute innocent puppy and I’m proud to finally admit that!

When I got outside Chaney’s office, I looked through the window and she was sitting on a chair with her feet up on the desk and reading a book. People are going missing, and she is sitting there, reading a book. Just wow.

I turned the knob on the door but it wouldn’t open.

“OPEN THE FUCKING DOOR” I screamed on the top of my lungs, while banging my fists on the door.

She opened the door with a smile on her face. That smile does not suit her. Liam is the new person in this camp and Chaney as the ‘camp instructor’ should take special care of him, but no. Seriously, who made her the main boss? She can’t even realise that Liam is missing, Wait, back to the basics. DOES SHE EVEN KNOW HIS NAME???!!?

“How can I help you today, Tommo?” Chaney said, while rolling her eyes.

“First of all, don’t call me Tommo. You’re not my friend, so don’t call me that. Get it? And the main problem is, LIAM IS MISSING!? DO YOU HAVE ANY CLUE ABOUT THIS? YOU’RE JUST SITTING HER WITH YOU FEET UP ON THE DESK AND READING A BOOK AND DO YOU EVEN HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT IS EVEN GOING ON IN THIS CAMP?” I shouted, even though she is in the same room as me. Do I care? No. I just want to find Liam!

“Louis, calm down! Just breathe in and out, in and out, in an-“ I cut her off.

“Don’t teach me how to breathe! And I cannot calm down women! My friend is missing and you want me to calm down?! “ I wanted to something else and not say ‘friend’ but oh well…

 “Ok sorry, I’m going to make an announcement to tell everyone to gather around in the Main meeting hall” Finally for the first time, Chaney said something good. Actually she is the reason, I found out more about Liam… That’s good.

Once Chaney had made announcement, I walked to of her office and made my own way to the main meeting hall. I found Niall sitting in the fifth row and he managed to save me a seat. Nice lad. 

Chaney stood on the stage in the hall and waited for everyone to get seated. There were some trainee workers for the camp on either end of each row.

When everyone was seated, Chaney spoke “Thank you everyone for coming here. We have been reported that a student, who actually just recently started in this camp, has been missing. So I want each and every one of you, to give your room keys to the trainee’s on either side of your row and then whichever key is missing, we will go and investigate it and if there is no luck then we will have to try something else. Everyone Understand? Good.”

Chaney got off the stage and everyone started giving there keys to the trainee’s on either sides of each row. When all the keys got collected, Chaney ticked off the keys that were here. But there was one missing… That means…-

“Where is the key to room 143?” Chaney spoke through the microphone, but no one spoke.

“I repeat, where is the key to room 143?” Still no answer. 

“I guess if no one has the key to room 143, I’ll have to go and investing-“ I cut her off

“Err.. Chaney, if you don’t mind. Can I go and investigate that room?” I put on a desperate face because I had this feeling that I wanted to be the first on that Liam sees. I really didn’t seem like a really nice and caring person at first, but then when Liam came into my life, he has changed me totally into a really nice caring person, but I may not be able to admit that in front him.

“Of course you can! But just be careful” Chaney said to me while I was making my way towards the door, and when I was exiting, I turned back to see Niall giving me a thumbs up for good luck. 

While I made my way to room 143, it was absolutely dead silent, which kind of started to freak me out a bit.. The whole camp was in the main hall and I’m in walking around alone, with no one around… but I’m just going to think of saving Liam, because that is all it matters right now.

I finally found room 143 and I was standing in front of the door. I tried turning the knob of the door but no luck, it didn’t open. I moved backed until I was against the wall and I was going to kick the door open. Until I knocked down a plant that was on the side. Underneath the plant, were some keys, not just any keys, but the keys to room 143.   

I put the key into the lock on the door knob and twisted and turned the key until, the it finally opened….

So this is the key that was missing…

And in front of my very own eyes was….

It's been a very long time since I updated, I know and I'm very sorry to keep you guys waiting for so long! 

@MissPayne1999 requested for a update since she nominated my story! THANK YOU AGAIN!  and you asked me if i could update this story and i just couldn't say no to her. Or else I would have to pay for the consequences lol
