KIM'S POV:

November 6, 2012

My baby sister was born last month! She is so cute, she has my amazing eyes. Not to brag. Mom wants us to meet my new neighbor tonight. There is someone across my window. I think it's a dude? But I don't know, he always has his window closed. I hope he goes to my school..

I close my diary as I check the time. "6:45 am." I whisper to myself. I walk downstairs still in my pajamas. My mom is in the kitchen. "Good morning Kimberly." My mom says as she cover the speaker on her phone.

"Your dad is dropping Emily to grandma's house" My mom and dad are going to another business trip again. They usually say it's for about 2 weeks but turns out its for 1 month. Horrayy.. I mean who leaves a 13 year old alone for a month. It okay, its keeping us alive.

"Kimberly, I talked to our next door neighbors mom. Brianna! She says they are welcome to check up on you everyday." she says as she walks to her computer. "Nice..!" great people I don't know, butting in my life. I'm not going to throw a party or anything. Maybe. Few sleepovers that's it.

"What time are you leaving?"

"After the dinner tonight, the Brewers are nice"

I almost choked on my water. BREWERS?! Jack Brewer... I'm pretty sure he is th only Brewer in Seaford. EEK!! Okay okay..

"Do you know if they have any kids?"

"Oh yeah uhm.. Jack? Jack Brewer"

I do a victory dance in my head. This month will be fun!

"Okay hun, I will get going my boss want me in the office before the trip."

I frown. This is not how I wanted my life to be. Business trip almost every month and rarely being at important event like my first time cheering or my first time winning a gymnastic godl medal.

My mom looks at my frown and squeeze my cheek.

"You need to understand, this is a high paying job and we are very fortunate. Here is 500 dollars. Buy yourself something" I sigh but take the money. I give her a quick smile and walk to my room. Running upstairs and slam my door. I wanna know if Jack is there.. I open my window. There is a big sturdy tree between the two windows. Our houses are the same structure and design so I grab my phone and call him. RING RING

He instantly picks up.

"Kim.. What do you want it's 6:50 am. School starts at 8:30.." he says in a deep morning voice.

"I just wanna test something out, open your window.." He groans "please..!"

"Fine, but you owe me. I won't be able to go to sleep anymore." he opens his window and there I see. Jack Brewer and his messy brown hair. He rubs his eyes.

"Kim?!" now he is awake. "How- How did you know?"

"My mom!" I smile at him and hang up the call. We can talk between the windows. It is only like 6 feet away from each other. He tells me to wait so I wait by my window

JACK'S POV:

I place down my phone and put on some shorts. I'm wearing a muscle tee so it okay. I open my window and climb onto the tree. "JACK! That's a old tree!" I jump up and down and shake my he's no. She moves away from her window and I jump inside. She give me a quick hug and it make it kind of awkward. I liked it but we are both in our pajamas. I look around her room, there is a vanity, doll collection and lots of boy band posters. She checks the clock 7:05am. I walk around a bit and we chat.
