The Adventures of Chip the Hedgehog

One warm Spring day a little hedgehog, named Chip, is playing by a lake. He finds a little door buried between some rocks. He opens the door, nervously crawls through and finds a white wasteland!

"Where am I?" said Chip.

"You are outside my cave" said a voice. "In Antarctica."

"Who are you?" asked Chip.

Before the voice could answer, a powerful blizzard occurred, pushing them down the mountain.

When Chip had stopped sliding, he called out to the unknown voice, "hello, are you still there?"

"I am" said the voice faintly.

"Who are you?" asked Chip.

"I'm an ice dragon!" said the voice.

"What's your name?" asked Chip.

" I...I don't know" said the dragon.

"I can help find your name" Chip said.

"Oh, yes, that would be great, thanks!" said the dragon.

"Ok, let me think. But first, we need to find your cave so I can find the door to my home" Chip said.

"Sounds good. Where do you live?" asked the dragon.

"I live under a tree," said Chip.

"I'll help you get back home" he replied.

So the two new friends slowly climbed back up the mountain to the cave. When they got there it was snowing like CRAZY!!

"Let's go in" Chip said through chattered teeth as he walked inside.

"Hang on! This is not my cave!" said the dragon.

"Oh no! A bear!" Chip shouted.

"What?" the ice dragon asked confused as he suddenly saw the big white bear. "That's a polar bear! Chip. RUN!!" he shouted.

"AAHHHHHHHH!!!!" Chip screamed.

"GET OUT!" the polar bear madly yelled.

The ice dragon slipped as he turned and the angry polar bear bit his wing.

"OW!" yelped the ice dragon.

"You monster!" screamed Chip.

"HELP" Chip fearfully screamed.

"I'm going to eat you both!" growled the polar bear.

Suddenly, two dragons appeared out of the fog. They fought the polar bear covering him in deep claw marks.

"Why did you do this to me?" cried the polar bear weakly.

"Be quiet, you baby" said one of the new dragons.

"Where's Fang?" asked the second dragon.

"Ice dragon, your name is Fang!" said Chip happily.

"Fang, you're bleeding! Are you ok?" Chip asked concerned.

Fang did not answer.

Chip turned to the other dragons. "Thanks for helping us. Who are you?" Chip asked.

"My name is Anna and this is Ezra" said the girl dragon.

"Fang is hurt. We need to take him to his cave" said Ezra.

"Can I come too? The door to my home is next to Fang's cave" Chip asked.

"Sure," Anna agreed.

"Thanks," said Chip.

So Chip, Anna, Ezra and Fang travelled for​ two days up the mountain to Fang's cave.

Once Fang was safely inside, Chip said, "Thank you Anna and Ezra. Please take care of Fang, he is my new friend."

"We will," said Anna and Ezra.

"Thank you both," said Chip.

"Bye Fang, get well soon. I'm going home." said Chip.

Outside the cave, Chip opened the little door and crawled safely home. He happily sat under his tree enjoying the warm Spring day.
