The next day, Jiyeon came out of her room after getting ready to go to work but she was shocked to see someone sitting on the couch in the living room.
"Yah! You shocked me!" "Wait- how did you get into this house?"
"Good morning, Ms. Jiyeon. Your dad told me your door passcode, that's how I got into this house."
"Ahhh, my dad... What are you doing at this early morning here?"
"Well that's my job to follow you everywhere, including going to work."
Jiyeon sighed and bit her bottom lip. Then she saw luggage beside Hongjoong.
"Is that your luggage? So, you're really gonna stay here."
"Yes, that's right. Where can I place this?"
"Just put it there first. The housekeeper will come later to clean the room for you." She said as she walked to the kitchen.
She took out cereal and milk from the fridge. Then she took a bowl so that she could eat cereal with milk.
"Have you had breakfast?"
"Yes, I have already."
"Okay." She sat down and ate her cereal, while Hongjoong sat on the chair opposite her.
"Why are you sitting here?" She raised one of her eyebrows.
"I can sit somewhere else if you don't like it."
"Yes, please." She motioned Hongjoong with her hand to wake up.
He got up and sat back in the living room.
A moment later. "Let's go. You obviously have to come with me to the office."
She walked to the door after finishing her breakfast. Hongjoong got up and followed her behind.
"Give me your car key, I will drive."
"No need, you are a bodyguard not a driver."
"That's my job. I will drive too."
She rolled her eyes and handed her car key to him. She walked to the passenger seat side. They both got into a car and that car sped up to her workplace.
As they walked into her office, all the staff looked at both of them weirdly. Of course they were. They never saw that man in the office or anywhere, with Jiyeon. Jiyeon just ignored them and went straight away to her office room.
"Good morning, Ms. Jiyeon." Her secretary greeted her before she got into her office room.
"Morning, Heejin."
Jiyeon noticed Heejin kept looking at Hongjoong, she of course wondered who he was.
"This is my bodyguard, Kim Hongjoong."
"Oh, nice to meet you Mr. Hongjoong."
Heejin bowed at him and he bowed back.
"She's my secretary, Lee Heejin. Let's go."
Hongjoong smiled at Heejin and followed Jiyeon into her office room.
"Okay, I will do my job, you are free to do anything. I also not gonna stop you from going out or going anywhere. I finish work at 5 pm." She sat on her white fancy chair and ignored Hongjoong since she started to do her work.
Hongjoong walked and sat on the couch in her office room. He took one of the magazines that was displayed on the coffee table and read it. Time flies, he finished all the magazines there. He looked at Jiyeon who was still focused on her work. He stood up and got out of there, went to the toilet.
Jiyeon noticed he walked out and continued her work. Not caring what the man will go and do.
After 5 minutes, he got back. He sat again on the couch. He observed the entire office room and the action caught Jiyeon's attention.
"Are you bored already?"
"Huh- no. Your office so nice, suits you."
"Oh, thank you."
Hongjoong smiled and took out his phone.
"I know you're bored. You can go where you want. It's still early, now not even lunch time yet."
"I guess I will go take a walk in this building. I need to know every inch about this place."
"Sure, go now. Don't get lost."
Hongjoong nodded and started his mission.
As he walked around this building, people started to look at him, I mean the staffs. They kept talking to each other. Gossip.
"Err- sir, sorry for bothering you but can I know who you are?" One of the staffs approached him.
"Oh, you're not. By the way, I'm Kim Hongjoong. Ms. Jiyeon's bodyguard."
"Bodyguard? Ohhhhh I understand. Are you observing this place?"
"Yeah, I need to know about this place well."
"I have no work to do now, I can help you. To show this place, I guess maybe I can explain a little bit if you have any questions."
"Are you sure? It doesn't bother you?"
"No, of course not."
"Then, thank you...?"
"Kangmin. You can call me Kangmin."
"Okay Kangmin, shall we go now?"
"Yeah, let's go."
Kangmin and Hongjoong spent time touring that place until lunch time.
"Thank you again, Kangmin."
"No problem, Hongjoong. I'm glad I can help you."
Hongjoong asked him to only call him Hongjoong and not Mr. Hongjoong.
"Okay then, see you again next time. I need to go now."
"Yeah, see you soon."
Hongjoong walked back to Jiyeon's office room. As he entered in, he saw she was packing her things.
"How about your tour?"
"Everything went well. Your staff help me a lot."
"Who?"
"Kangmin."
"Ohhh." She nodded and got up.
She took her handbag. "I want to go to lunch."
Hongjoong nodded and let her out then he followed behind her. They ate lunch at the restaurant opposite the company. They got back to office again after finishing lunch.
Around 3 pm, Mr. Jaesung, Jiyeon's dad came to her office room.
"Sir."
"Hongjoong, how's your work so far?"
"Everything is good, sir."
"Did she treat you well?"
"Yes, she did."
"What do you mean, dad?"
"Nothing, honey. I'm just afraid you're gonna do something bad to him."
"I'm not that mean."
Dad chuckled. "So, have you moved into Jiyeon's house?"
"Yes, this morning."
"You prepared his room, Jiyeon?"
"Yeah, the housekeeper came this morning. I bet she already done arranged everything for your 'man'."
"Very good. I'll go out first, tell me if you anything, you two."
"Sure, sir."
Jaesung nodded and walked out of that office room.
