"Hello my beautiful tulip." Says Daniel when he answers the phone.
"It's p3." Says Max when he sits down on the sofa in his motorhome.
He only finished p3 in the shootout! He should have tried better, he should have gotten the pole for the sprint race.
"Yes, but you have to finish p6 to win your championship. I have fate in you baby." Says Daniel and Max sighs.
"I did a bad job."
"You didn't, it's difficult with all those track limits. Maxy, the race is soon, not now. This was only a shoutout, points will be on the sprint." Says Daniel and Max looks at him on his phone.
He misses his face.
"I wish you were here." Says Max and Daniel gives him a small smile.
"I'm with you. Right here." He puts his hand on his heart and Max smiles.
"You are." Says Max and lays his hand on his own heart.
"I can't wait for Austin to see you again." Says Max.
"I'm sorry I can't be there with you, I really tried but-"
"You need to focus on your recovery, I know. And that's a lot more important than you being with me when I win. Plus, we will celebrate another time." Says Max and Daniel smiles.
"I will give you the biggest hug you can get when I see you again." Says Daniel, and Max lays down with a dramatic sigh.
"Don't say that because I really want it right now." Says Max and Daniel laughs.
"But seriously, don't worry Maxy, you will show everyone why you're the champion. You are driving that beautiful car to the finish line and it will be so amazing no matter where you finish above six." Says Daniel and Max smiles again.
"I want to make everyone proud." Says Max
"I'm proud of you already, this is your weekend, even when you get it on Sunday. This whole season, you have been so dominant, you deserve this title and no one can take it away from you. Baby, you have to believe in yourself more." Says Daniel
"I love you." Says Max
"I love you more, and no matter what will happen, I'm so proud of you, even when you crash." Says Daniel and Max laughs
"If I crash today, my dad will kill me." Says Max.
"Don't even make me think about how your father is there and I'm not." Says Daniel and Max smiles.
"I really hope I can see you next week."
"Well, you probably have a lot of media to do, and to the factory, so you might be busy." Says Daniel and Max pouts.
"I miss you."
"And I miss you, Tulip, but we will see each other in Austin." Says Daniel and Max nods.
"What did you do today?" Asks Max
"Some sim and training. I had a lot of strength for my hand so it's hurting a bit now."
"Are they sure it's ready for Austin?"
"Yes, It was okay to try and race in Qatar but if it didn't work out, the weekend would have been too difficult for Liam without free practice. So I will try in Austin and if it doesn't work then Liam can still get in the seat." Says Daniel.
"I hope for you it will go well." Says Max and Daniel smiles.
"I will work my ass off for it. It's Austin, I need to race there." Says Daniel with a big smile.
