Thirty-Five

Tzuyu's POV

Days passed, and it's Saturday again. The week had been a whirlwind of activities, from catching up with work to spending quality time with Mina. As Saturday morning dawned, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement building within me. Saturdays were special days, a time when Unnies and I spent time together.

As I made my way downstairs, the aroma of freshly brewed coffee filled the air. It was a familiar scent. I saw Mom in the kitchen, wearing her signature apron and humming a sweet tune. "Mom, you're here."

Mom turned with a warm smile. "Good morning, Tzuyu. I wanted to make sure you had a good breakfast before your day out with your Unnies."

I couldn't help but feel touched by her thoughtfulness.  "Thank you, Mom. You're the best."

She chuckled. "I know you have a busy day ahead, so eat up." Mom set a plate of homemade breakfast in front of me, and I dug in. The flavors were a comforting reminder of home. "Ohh. before I forgot. Someone delivered this for you. They're beautiful." Mom said and handed me the bouquet of flowers.

I took the bouquet with a surprised smile. "Wow, they are beautiful. I wonder who they're from," I said as I searched for a note among the flowers. Eventually, I found a small card tucked into the bouquet. I carefully unfolded it and read the message:

"I'm so grateful I was able to find my way to you. Hug and kiss you soon. -Mochiboo 💖"

I couldn't help but smile as I read Mina's heartfelt message. Even though she was in Japan visiting her parents, she had found a way to make me feel special from afar. "Mina is so adorable,"  I thought to myself "Mom, they're from Mina," I said with a delighted grin.

Mom's eyes twinkled knowingly. "Well, that's sweet. When will you introduce me to her?"

I looked back at my mom, who was now wearing a mischievous smile. "I'll introduce you to her soon, Mom," I promised. "She's an amazing person, and I know you'll like her as much as I do."

Mom patted my hand affectionately. "I'm looking forward to it, dear. But now tell me more about her."

"Mina... Mina is an extraordinary person," I began, my voice filled with admiration. "She's kind, talented, and incredibly thoughtful. We share so many interests and dreams, and being with her just feels right, you know? I can be myself around her, and she accepts me for who I am. But what I love most about her is how genuine she is, and how she makes me feel like the most special person in the world."

Mom listened intently, a soft smile on her face. "It sounds like you've found something really special, Tzuyu."

"I have, Mom," I replied, my heart full of gratitude. "I have."

My mom gave me a reassuring pat on the back. "I'm happy for you, my love. So, when will be you her girlfriend? It's been a while." 

I blushed at my mom's direct question, but her warm and supportive demeanor made it easier to answer. "Well, Mom, we've been spending a lot of time together, and I can definitely see a future with her. I just want to make sure that when the time comes, it's the right moment for both of us."

Mom nodded understandingly. "That's a thoughtful approach. Just remember that love has its timing, and when it's right, you'll know."

Her words filled me with comfort and reassurance. "Thank you, Mom. I really appreciate your support."

She smiled and hugged me gently. "I'll always support you, Tzuyu, in every way. Now, I should go I still have a meeting to attend.  Enjoy your day with your Unnies. And say hello to Mina for me when you see her next time."
