Vlaire opened the large bronze door, a huge gust of wind blown from the entrance. There was a stairway leading down to the next level.
Vlaire stared down the stairway. She only took a good couple of steps as they led down into the darkness. "Alright guys, if we do this, we can't leave until the labyrinth is cleared." Vlaire said, turning around to face Yoko and Double.
"Do the doors disappear after we enter one?" Double asked cocking an eyebrow.
"No, that's only for a boss and sub boss rooms, I just want to clear this place out so no one else can get the loot here." Vlaire said looking down the stairway.
Yoko cracked his knuckles smirking, looking down at the next level. "Well then, let's clear this place out, you game, Double?" Yoko asked looking over at him.
Double cracked his neck and gave somewhat of a devilish smirk showing his teeth. "I'm game, let's do this, Vlaire."
Vlaire smiled at the two and nodded. The three of them worked their way down to the next level. Vlaire lifted her staff up and it began to glow illuminating the stairwell. About 10 minutes had passed and they were still going down. "Yo! How long is this stairwell!?" Yoko yelled out. "Shit reminds of the endless staircase from Mario 64!"
Vlaire had stopped walking and picked up a pebble dropping down. They waited to hear the sound of the pebble hitting the ground. A solid five minutes passed before the pebble could be heard hitting the ground. "Damn that's a deep fall." Yoko said.
Vlaire sighed a bit "We're gonna be here forever so I have an idea." Vlaire snapped her fingers as her pupils turned to a light shade of green. The bottom of the stairwell was dark but in Vlaire's perspective she could now see in the dark, she couldn't see the bottom but she could see a lot further down now. "Perfect, alright you two, grab onto my shoulders, we're gonna speed to the bottom."
Double and Yoko didn't really know what she was up to but they really didn't wanna keep walking down these steps. They grabbed onto Vlaire's shoulders as she jumped off the stairwell with the two of them hanging on. "YO VLAIRE, THE HELL ARE YOU DOING!?" Yoko yelled as they were falling.
"Speeding up the process!" Vlaire started teleporting to each part of the stairwell that she could see. In about 2 minutes they reached the bottom of the stairwell and were greeted by a door that led to the next level. Vlaire's pupils turned back to their normal blue as she walked towards the door.
"What exactly did you do?" Double asked walking behind her.
"I used my Instant Movement spell though it's only limited to how far I can see so I used a vision enhanced spell called Night eye, it allows me to see in the dark and see a bit further than normal."
"Ok, who the bloody hell are you, really, Vlaire?" Double asked looking at the Witch. "Instant Movement, Night Eye, casting an infinite storage spell on yourself!? These are some really advanced magic spells and you're using them with barely any effort, you're even combining them."
Vlaire stopped and looked back at Double and just gave a simple smile "I'm just a Witch who wants to learn everything about magic and who wants to reshape the magic world." Vlaire said as she faced forward and proceeded to walk opening the door that was in front of them.
Welcome to the second level of the labyrinth!
Once Vlaire opened the door they were greeted with a lush green field and a large blue sky. "No way!" Yoko said looking around. "It's like we're right back outside!"
"Wouldn't expect anything less from these things." Double said looking up into the sky. A breeze blew across his face as his white spikey hair was pushed back by the breeze. "It even has an air current."
