Author speaking! For the sake of both of us, please actually read.
1. This story is marked mature and targeted for an 18+ audience. I can not stop somebody younger than that from reading it, but at least proceed with caution. It is not my desire to have somebody be offended, off-put, or otherwise aggravated by this story.
2. As stated in the description, there are quite a few depictions of violence, vulgar language, a suicidally- natured main character, and otherwise gore-filled setting. If any this upsets you, I am incredibly happy that you saw this story but would rather you keep your mental heath in tact.
3. As maybe not stated in the description (memory of a walnut, see), there is a sex scene! That being said, it is optional to read if that is not what you prefer and there is a disclaimer before you load the chapter. (Chapter [ERROR_0] is the scene). If you do not want to read anything like that, then the numbered chapter before the disclaimer is a perfectly reasonable end for the main story.
4. While this is a completed story at chapter 19, not all of the ideas and much of the character's past are explored. This has mainly been done to avoid you having to read through a dreadfully dark and dreary backstory that my brain has created that may or may not be too horrifying for many people to read. If this gets popular and readers are interested to know about our dear lovers, I am willing to add more detail in optional parts after the completion of the main story. Just let me know!
5. This book, or at least some ideas, is very loosely inspired by Prey by @A-Lusk (Far from my usual read, but a good one nonetheless). I believe it to be a loose enough inspiration that it doesn't violate their creative liberties, but if they deem it so then it shall be gone! If my cover is also deemed to violate anything, it will quickly be changed and replaced by a drawing. I just can't draw right now.
6. Lastly, I am not one to edit my books. I experience the ADHD "AHHHH" of having to face my mistakes and feel like a failure when I see all of them. I only have time and inspiration when I am supposed to be sleeping. I am also recovering from a surgery, and have been during the entirety of the book, so that probably didn't help. That being said, if any part is confusing or illegible because of that fact, comment on it. I will change it. I am not that cruel. I can face my demons for the 10 seconds it takes, I'm just... not going to do it until it's a problem.
